A Scottish coach at Goncalves' club is a personal friend of one of our coaching staff , that's how we got Isma , nothing to do with DL. As for the NUFC guys , Tommy Craig pestered them for long enough for a couple of players and we eventually got a couple offered to us !

The current situ sort of reminds me of early season 2002/3. TH , a hero to most up until then, was getting pelters for lack of quality in the side eg Dow , Robb , Guy , McGinty etc and he started tinkering with thing 's bringing in panic signings like Fellner , Kristo , Dietrich etc .The upshot was we started shipping goals all over the place and Gilmour didn't hesitate in handing TH his jotters. Danny would do well to take note !

Absolutely. I'm happy enough with him in the squad as cover for right back , right mid, or even centre back in emergencies , but he's never a first pick anymore !

No time for any more youngster tryouts I'm afraid , most of them are still not ready and in some cases not good enough. As for the bit about Morton , it's the same scenario every season but we've always been too good for them , which make the way things panned out today a bit worrying !
