Down the coast 25 miles...not a breath of wind....
Renfrew goalie has just scored a wind-assisted kick-out at Kilwinning , his first goal on his 225th appearance !

Big Brockie had a flat across the road from Toledo , so we would all meet there on a Saturday night between 11-12 and have a few , around 12 we would look out the window , with the queue down to Shuttle St , we would wait for a crowd of wummin , and pile over and skip in in front of them , much to their anger . 😀

Well, we have two home games to turn it around. Motherwell, who we face in ten days' time, look woeful. I think we should beat County by the odd goal.
Two massive games that 2 months ago we'd already have been counting the 6 points , not now , if we were to lose both I dread to think what lies ahead !
-
Boyd Munce should never be in the side ahead of Baccus , McMenamin looks as if he wants back across the Irish Sea, Tanser got his new contract and has regressed to last season's form , O'Hara has stopped running , which is the main part of his game. I could go on !
-
Dare I say it , we're treading water , can't score in a barrel of fannies , this is relegation form , we're handing points to teams who were behind us in the distance !
-
This is getting beyond it now !
-
If we can find our form , and get a result v the Fakes , then I think we will win comfortably on Saturday. Player for player , County aren't a patch on us.
-
It was a "go through the motions" performance for us against a not very good Rangers , we got what we deserved . A repeat v the Fakes during the week and all the good early work will be as good as gone. Too many big players not turning up , team needs a complete refresh ! I'd be starting Bolton , Small , Nahmani and Jamieson this week !

The stink from the "works" at Fulbar Road next to that 16th hole will never leave my nostrils. The residents nearby must have been driven mad by that putrid stench.
When a SW wind was blowing , the stench carried into the JNHS classrooms , and putrid is the word !

First away game on a bus,The Tudor, without parental supervision would be this one………………..

That game !! I was in the Tudor lounge having lunch with my heavily pregnant wife. I wasn't planning on going to the game. Toshie was doing his rounds in the pub and asked why I wasn't going , I told him the situ re my missus and he said there were two spare seats , and he wouldn't charge for her. So we went , and when that late winner went in I got caught up in the celebrations , only to glimpse the good lady flat on her back on the terrace , but she was ok , and we won and just about guaranteed our survival ! 😇

Two current directors of our club are not St Mirren fans. Gillespie supports Rangers. McMillan supports Celtic.
What's that got to do with anything , that kind of scenario happens the world over ? That kind of attitude is why Todd and Corson were too small-time for Fergie , and the "we are all St Mirren supporters on the BOD" days are gone at most clubs forever. It was Gillespie who negotiated the deal to bring in SR , do you think it even crossed Robinson's mind that Gillespie didn't support the club growing up ? It's such a narrow minded outlook , much the same as Wardrop's , childlike even !

Baccus out , Mandron fit enough for bench !

As much as this is debated on here, the majority of St.Mirren fans, even those who are part of SMISA, couldn't give a shit a bout this matter, other than to point and laugh at "Mr.St.Mirren".
That just about nails it !

I know its fictional, but if someone was offering to invest millions in the club then it would happen.
It might not be that far off , with Burnley looking for a tie-up with Dundee and the Bournemouth owner now looking to buy Hibs too , and there is allegedly one more club in talks with one from England , the rules are being re-written to accommodate the situation.

I saw a speech from the Jewish , late , Labour MP Gerald Kaufman recently , dating from around 15 years ago. In it , he said that the biggest mistake the Labour Govt of the time had made was to not recognise the democratically elected Hamas in Palestine , he said that whatever "we jews" think about it , Hamas are "the only show in town" as far as the Palestinians are concerned , and recognising Hamas would have given us a much better chance of coming to some sort of agreement !

You could cough this situation under the rug, it’s that trivial.
I don’t understand fans being so raging over a scenario that never happened a year ago. They probably still have a picture of Ian Harte up on the dartboard 😅
Yeah , it's all water under the bridge now. It's not happening , Kibble are part of the club for the foreseeable , and the team are doing well. SR is very vocal about the support he gets from Keith Lasley and Jim Gillespie on the football side of things and long may that continue !

Application made for funding to finance a build on Club land without the required club permission.
Is that worse or better than a planning application?
Which couldn't have been passed anyway without 100% Board approval. AW stirred up a hornets nest because he thinks he's relevant , when he clearly isn't ! IMO

I think the link you have posted is from the pub reopening as the IOTC……which was a total failure due to fighting in the pub every time a game was on It only lasted about 6 weeks before they realised their mistake
Opened again 3 weeks ago The folk from the Anchor Bar have taken over after leaving the AB due to complaints about noise from the residents of the new flats across the road Imagine buying a flat across from a pub then complaining about the noise!!!! Anyway it’s been mobbed every weekend since it opened so looks like a good decision by them
I knew they had reopened it , but when I passed yesterday there was one of those "for rent , may sell" signs outside it. Have they just not taken it down , or is it remaining on the market ?

Didn't know that Craig was invited , but Danny said he wouldn't attend if Craig was going to be there ! With justification I think ?

Party's over I'm afraid , we'll cling on to top 6 for the winter shut down , but once we hit the bottom 6 , we'll be staying there. We might be better than County , 'Well and Livvy , but that's it for me !
