Is there any news of possible injury worries for this one ? Taylor and Strain both took knocks yesterday.

SR usually plays his cards close to his chest on the injury front , he'll make some throwaway comment in his pre-match about a late decision on a player ! I did notice them both holding their hamstrings , but they played on , so hopefully just cramp !

Used the Renfrew ferry many times with my mother as we travelled over to a few hospitals on the other side of the water.

May be an image of body of water and text that says "GLASGOW MOTORWAY ARCHIVE"

My mum had folks in Falkirk , and I have vague memories of us heading there for the weekend and having to queue for the Ferry on a Saturday morning, before the existence of the Tunnel and Kingston Bridge , the route was Bearsden , Kirkintilloch , Kilsyth , Bonnybridge , Falkirk !

Just back from the game, first half sensational going forward, lost my voice after the penny save, celebrated like a goal!

I could have done the linesman’s job in front of the west stand, didn’t make any decisions and let gogic stand on the pitch twice when he was taking a throw in!

Correct re linesman , I noticed Gogic standing on the pitch at the throw-ins , and he ignored the only real decisions that he had to make ie the ball out in the first half , and the ball over the line later. VAR is making these new linos lazy !

I know it’s only the 1st game but this looks like Relegated team v Champions

Arbroath are a million miles away from the hard to beat unit they were when they were pipped to promotion by Kilmarnock , could be a long season if DC can't add some decent quality in midfield and defensively ! The lad Balde looks way out his depth !

I think this is bollocks. No respectable player will be happy to hang their next stage of career on Goodwin.

I thought Gallagher helped us when he came on Saturday and pushing Gogic on also helped.

Think this is a pointless story.

He wants to go , he lives in Dundee , and the club are happy to sell him. I believe we already have a replacement lined up !

Comparing McGinn and Henderson made me laugh.

It's like comparing a Derby winner to the winner of the 1.45 at Yarmouth today.

When Ross Stewart was transferred by Stubbs , I was outraged , because I had seen enough to convince me that he had something about him. Jay is ok , he's had his moments for us , and I'm sure he stick it into us at some point , but I don't see him making it any higher than Ross County !

If you look at the club directory he’s listed as “Head of pro phase “ whatever that means .

If you look under teams - academy staff , he’s down as U-20s coach

if you look under First team - coaching staff ,he’s listed as Assistant head of Youth development .

Hes either wearing many hats or the we can’t think what title to give him 🤷‍♂️

I was told at the Smisa meeting that he was looking for a role which involved less coaching duties !

I take it we are deciding that big Peter should go out on loan this season for 1st team/make or break experience then? This can't be for No1 spot as Carson has been great.

I have seen some rumours flying about, re the GK situation , I read them but don't really believe them. However , one rumour last week had Carson leaving ( I know he signed a new contract recently) and a GK coming in on loan from the English championship (not Alnwick)

  9. It's interesting , because by agreeing an option to buy , we will have first shout on him.  Meaning , if he tears this league up and the OF or any English Championship club try to pinch him, as usual , we'll be holding the cards !
