If they don't want to sign on to play for us, then they can f*ck off. We need players who want to be here.

Great result. But I though Goody gambled again going 1 up front in the 2nd half like he done 2 weeks. But he got away with it today. I've said it before on here so I'll say it again Dennis is the best finisher at the club. And what a goal he scored today. If Obika could finish like him he wouldn't be playing for us. Obika was very good today. Except his shooting. Thought Edwin done some good hold up work today. Not really any bad performances today. Good to see young Dylan Reid coming on again. Coys. BTW soft pen. But who cares.

The whole midfield was rotten, McGinn looks like a rugby player and played like one,  Christie has not kicked a ball for anyone since the Serbia game was absolutely pish , McGregor just passes backwards, and McTominey looked lost..
And Robertson is not a patch on Tierney and should take the armband

Yep , McTominay was bad but Wee Meatball had one of his worst games in a Scotland shirt as far I am concerned.
add to that , two of the best Left wingbacks  in the uk and we can’t cross a f**king ball .
All in all , a bad day at the office and we have made an already difficult section even more so.

watching us in the final third fannying about with tippy tippy nonsense then three passes backwards and the keeper punts it up the park ..... was like watching Saints

The sore arm has nothing to do with the vaccine, it's because it's an intramuscular injection - the quickest way to get the vaccine into the bloodstream.  Most vaccines are given as an intramuscular injection.  The sleepiness is the vaccine.  Most folk I know who have had the jab have a period about 1 or 2 days after the jab when they just feel as if somebody has found their off switch.

No no no Stubbs had no idea
No no no Stubbs either was not aware or just disrespectful of the history of our great club I am 75 and fortunate enough to have watched us lift major trophies and competed in Europe and of course had a great season early eighties finishing third in the top league broke the Scottish transfer record to sign McDougall from the Bankies no-one will ever convince me Well and Killie are bigger clubs than us and then of course you have Livi having a great finish last season on a lesser budget than us a club who barely sell 1000 season tickets quite simply Stubbs made an usher hash of things his signings mostly were awful and of course we paid £75k for Heaton who couldn't even perform well against amateur opposition in the League Cup and I believe is now back working on a building suite notice Stubbs never even mentioned that why the BBC gave him s platform to talk bollocks was out of order.

So, after reflection, in the cold light of day, we still blew it, defensive tactics were wrong and I’m still disappointed. But not angry any more.

However, we have to put the disappointment behind us and move on.

Congratulations to the Fakes. They’re a much better team than us and deserve their place in the top 6.

It won’t be easy to hold on to 7th slot so we’ll need some big performances in these last 5 league games and a decent cup run.
Players will be playing for contracts, especially our strikers.

Bottom tier means less money available so probably more difficult to keep the players we want and bring in new talent to replace those who will leave.

Hope Dennis is back soon. And that we find out the situation with Quaner.

We will be lucky to finish 7th now. The late collapse against Celtic has come back to haunt us here. The big picture is we have improved and the defence are behind that. The forward play is utterly abysmal and we don’t score anywhere near enough goals. I’m also not a fan of the constant tinkering and I’m sick of Jim being overly cautious at times. Today 1 up and probably looking the better side yet we take off a striker and eventually we have nothing up front .

What a chance to make a wee bit of history with our best ever finish and to try and chase down Livingston. Europe for either them or st j possibly. Livingston top 6 back to back and st j now have ten top six finishes. We can only dream of that. Throw in county and thistle as top six clubs of the past And for us never to have made it really is a sickener. As for him today to blame the ref lacks class. We have had some v soft pens this year too and without McGrath’s goals we have scored 19 and even he has six pens in his tally.
it was lost today in the last minute but the inability to gather more points from all our home games has killed us. We beat Celtic and after that it all went a bit flat sadly

I agree on Shaughnessy. I think he’s a decent big defender but he also seems to be thick as mince. Brain farts have been plenty this season. The challenge today for the the free kick which lead to the goal was rash, but shortly before it he also conceded possession in their half with a completely idiotic and needless handball.
All that said, our failure has been about so much more than today or Shaughnessy.

Gutted but not surprised. We don’t deserve it for falling to beat Hamilton in either of the last two games against them or any of the other winnable matches in February. That said if we finish 7th we’d have been happy with that at the start of the season and praised the boys and Goodwin for improving on last year. Let’s hope we can find a striker in the summer and we can look to next year with optimism.

Absolutely this. We weren’t negative today. Nothing even close to negative. Anyone who thinks we were is a f**king idiot.
What we were was completely and utterly f**king shite in the final third.
Furthernore, that has been our problem all season. If we had been even 50% more efficient in that area we’d have comfortably been a top 6 team.
If Goodwin has failed at anything this season, it’s been been recruiting an even remotely decent striker.

How long will we tolerate this? More pertinently, how much longer will England?

"This week’s Panorama gave us the extraordinary tale of a dog food supplier turned PPE broker bagging herself millions acting as a ‘bridge’ for a Hong Kong supplier. Details of the largest contract - worth £178m - came to light only after the BBC’s probing prompted the Government to publish.

"It sought to explain its failure as an “admin error.” But even if true - which we doubt - this doesn’t justify a further breach of the law on transparency. Despite the High Court ruling in our favour last month that Matt Hancock had broken the law in failing to publish pandemic contracts, the failures continue. Meanwhile, Boris Johnson and his Minister mislead Parliament about the scale of the breaches. And refuse to come clean about the beneficiaries of its ‘VIP’ lane.

"In his judgment, Judge Chamberlain said “The Secretary of State spent vast quantities of public money on pandemic-related procurements during 2020. The public were entitled to see who this money was going to, what it was being spent on and how the relevant contracts were awarded.” We agree. And so we have written to Matt Hancock launching new legal proceedings for his continuing failures to comply with the law.

"Our grounds focus on two key issues:

First, the Secretary of State’s failure to comply with his obligations to publish Contracts Finder notices (CFNs) within the requisite 90 days. In relation to contracts entered into on or before 7 October 2020, he had failed to do so in well over 50% of cases.

Second, the Secretary of State’s decision to obscure the key provisions in contracts. Many contracts are being published in heavily redacted form - one example from December shows the quantity, unit price, size and colour of gowns being redacted; another contract entered into almost a year ago but published only this month is so heavily redacted that no information whatsoever is visible regarding what was even purchased. Publication in this form isn’t transparency; it is advertising the lack of it.

"“One unfortunate consequence of non-compliance with the transparency obligations…is that people can start to harbour suspicions of improper conduct...” said Judge Chamberlain in last month’s judgment.

"We agree. If they have nothing to hide why won’t they publish?

    Jolyon Maugham
    Director of Good Law Project"

Sad to say I have to agree with these posts. The lad is a half decent player no doubt,  but he’s not all that.
If he signs a new deal I’ll be happy enough, if he doesn’t I won’t lose any sleep over him leaving.
