He should but if the first incident was spotted, and it's not easy for the ref to see it, then that wouldn't have happened as Hearts would have had a penalty.

As for the conspiracy shite, I'm out of that nonsense. :byebye

First sentence: Wow, never thought of that.

Second sentence: Yes, crazy talk. Refs never even things up to cover their mistakes.

The players are told not to approach the fans because it has the chance of supporters being injured.

I believe the criminal action is covered in Section 38, that he acted in a manner that his reckless behaviour could cause fear or alarm.

Meanwhile in a parallel pragmatic universe, they celebrate in front of the fans, then turn and head back to restart the game with no incident having occurred.

What was the cop even doing trying to get involved there in the first place? There was nothing being done in terms of a crime.....guy scores goal, leaves field of play. A bookable offence, not a criminal one.

Any resulting fracas was purely of this police officer's doing.

Seen this type of thing before at Parkhead. Forget which of the German sides it was, but there was a totally avoidable fracas when they went to to their fans at the end of the game, which apparently they always did. Not allowed to at Parkhead seemingly.

In the Club’s last preseason match before its historic Major League Soccer debut, Inter Miami CF earned a 0-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium on Saturday night in front of passionate traveling fans from the Club’s recognized supporters’ groups - The Siege, Southern Legion and Vice City 1896

I love the way they can contrive this stuff, right out of thin air. I remember when LA got its newest team they were mobilising the fans for their big rivalry with the existing LA Galaxy team.  This is before the team had even kicked a ball.

  5. Was trying to think how many games have been postponed at the new stadium. So I looked it up at http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/

For the record, it turns out it's five in eleven years, plus one abandonment, mainly due to Derek Adams greeting at being 2-0 down and Willie Collum finding the one spot on the park where the ball wouldn't bounce.

    09/10 Aberdeen - Ice/Snow

    13/14 Ross County - Abandoned - rain

    15/16 QoS - Rain

15/16 Raith - Late call off after heavy snow

16/17  Spartans - Undersoil heating chucked it

    19/20 Hearts

Also, six away games postponed over the same period, at Hamilton, Hibs, Rangers, Dundee United, St Johnstone and Motherwell.

    According to Motherwell's own website:

'The South Stand is the largest of the four stands at the ground, with a seated capacity of 4,500. It normally houses the away support, however it is used for home supporters on some occasions.'

The upper and lower tiers appear to be roughly the same size, which would suggest the lower tier has a capacity of 2,225. If we had less than 1,000 supporters there, that would suggest it was less than 45% full...

I think a lot of people must have sneaked through that fire exit!

I was in the Main Stand, and I noticed the away end looked busier at the end, when the crowd were more spread out (as above), than it did during the game when they were packed together.

. My view was that we had enough fans there to completely fill two sections of the stand. However two sections of that stand is 2 x (21 x 28) = 1176. :whistle

I've actually got a couple of pictures, but they are shite.

With there being cash gates you might need to also factor in that was par for the course for home teams to under-report cup crowds back in the day. Don't know if that is still a thing.
