Completely agree with Stuart on this one. It seems that Saints have lost the plot with trying to attract fans. Not only are the team playing terribly (and have been for years now) but the admission charge is outrageous for the low quality of "entertainment" on offer.
I make no apology for continuing on the pricing theme. Until they come to sense, i, and many others , will continue to absent ourselves.
Wonder what the admission price will be next season if we are demoted again, and will it continue to be "all ticket" Another joke thats not in the least funny.

In the name of God!! It isn't the fault of an assistant manager if the team, tactics, selections etc are pure rank rotten. First and foremost its the bloody manager. Seems Spalding is a bit of a scapegoat here. Oh well. Here's to yet another shitty appointment whoever it may be.

StuDick is completely wrong on one point, and completely correct in another. To suggest there is nothing anti-sectarian about the singing of that song by St Mirren fans is nonsense. The motivation behind the singing of it is entirely anti-sectarian. However, as he also says, the very fact that the Pope and the Queen are getting it with sweary words thrown in is all that matters to anyone on a bus, train or with no inside knowledge of St Mirren being a club slap bang in 'Old Firm' West of Scotland territory. That's all they hear - and without any inside knowledge it is simply offensive when taken out of intended context.
Time it was binned completely - even though it absolutely is St Mirren fans expressing the view that they have no time for either the 'God Save the Queen' bollocks of one side, or the 'God Bless the Pope' bollocks of the other side. Expressed using language that has now long passed its' sell-by date.
For St Mirren fans, it remains an anti-sectarian song, sung by fans of a team five miles and fifteen miles away from both middens, and subjected to their sectarian tomfoolery for decades. It's 2015 though. Times have changed.

Cheaper to watch Rangers than St Mirren? Only Hibs charge more for tickets? That's embarassing.

Give Marc peace. He is no longer at the club. Every week he would get the blame at St Mirren and even now when he is away some choose to say how awful he played.
Marc was in our cup winning team and deserves some respect from our fans. He was immense in the semi final and final and deserves to be remembered for that.
    Marc good luck with Dunfermline

Just having a wee think what my response to Spalding would be if he did in fact have a dig at St Mirren supporters for what he perceived to be negativity or boo boy antics emanating from the home stands...
Got it. My response would be shut the fcuk up and start doing something to assist Murray in addressing the complete and utter fcuking shitfest that St Mirren FC have become in this dinkydome cursed midden we now play in.
If you cannot do that, then fcuk off.
    Harsh?

I was lucky enough to be at both legs. In my opinion, they were one of the best teams I've seen. Movement off the ball was fantastic and some players with real skill. And their fans were really friendly. 28 years ago, surely not!

I don't know if Alex Miller's involvement would've helped us this season, but its his approach to football that would put me off. His spell managing our club produced some of the most depressing football I've seen and I certainly wouldn't want to see it again.

He's an imposter and a wage thief... He won't and shouldn't be at our club next season.
Let's not get carried away he played slightly better than his usual shite yesterday but still made too many wrong decisions for me, think he will struggle to get another premiership team next season.
He's one of the main reasons why we were relegated this season, Wylde is a passenger and we had far too many this season and that's why we were so poor!

I'm not keen on organised boycotts. However, I stopped throwing my money away paying to watch a manager and squad who aren't committed earlier in the season. Perhaps I'm less of a fan than those who continue to turn up and all credit to them for doing so, but I'll wait til things change before I come back.

That doesn't help right enough! But especially in big clubs in the EPL, the people who now function as fans are different from the fans of 20-30 Years ago, simply cos you need a helluva sound income to afford to go to the games. This is not an affordable simple pleasure to tag along to with your pals or kids. It takes a significant part of most families' incomes. And when folk pay a lot they expect some return, something special laid on for them by the highly remunerated, under-educated guys doing a job they all believe that they could do.... if they didnae have to be in a stupid job and work all the hours possible to afford a season ticket.
Mourinho has no right to expect passion and noise unless there is something exceptional to behold... And there is - but it's usually on the telly, seen from umpteen angles and every night of the week.
Like cheap, always available music, fitba has lost its value. People no longer invest interest and passion in anything that is limitlessly available.
They invest a measure of money and want to get a return on that alone, with little or no effort on their part.

The season is going from bad to worse with arguably our two best players out for weeks. I'm a realist and been a Saints fan for over 45 years. We will be relegated this season we have the wrong guy managing the club. God help us this Saturday

My mistake, that's even worse. The people who make these decisions are out of touch. I guess fans paying to see games are less important than the money made from other revenue streams.
