  1. Reborn saint is now unborn saint...pathetic There will be a decision made by the 20th, I can assure you of that. Not long really to wait and well within RA timeframe for the completion of this takeover. This was clearly stated at the several meetings held at the stadium
  2. Woops thought the previous poster said Gilmour street station. still believe that the club could do something regarding this, particularly as there are already plans afoot. must be regarded as a fairly viable project if plans are indeed in place. We could at least provide some competition, but wouvd prefer if we couvd strike a deal with SPT, seen as we have a huge carpark right aross from the station!!
  3. still reckon smfc could do it cheaper, they would want to recoup costs for building/refurbishing a car park as i dont think there are any decent sized carparks near the station, plus the traffic in the area is a nightmare in the morning and indeed in the early evening. Greenhill road suffers from non of those issues.
  4. id reckon it would be very easy to undercut their prices, particularly due to the ample spaces at the car park at Greenhill Rd. Is their plan for a bus or train link?
  5. What about a park and ride service for Paisley based OF fans on their respetive matchdays? OF derby days would be interesting..... More seriously would a 'ride and rail' type service be viable where Paisley based commuters could park their car for a knock down price at Greenhill Rd and get the train into glasgow or Greenock? Again this carbon friendlier initiative could have a positive return on loan repayments via the sroi scheme.
  6. Yes it wouvd be great if we could link up with this team, however on the pretence that they change their name to SMFC or suchlike in exchange for the use of the clubs facilities and networks. what would be even better though wouvd be to start a brand new team from scratch, with as many age groups as possible. Reckon it would be great for the SROI payments.
  7. ye he did mention something about them training at Ralston...would like though a team linked with the saints to be involved in the womans league. Definately a win win!
  8. I would like to see the creation and subsequent development of a ladies football team linked with SMFC. Womens football is one of the worlds fastest growing sports, mainly thanks to uptake over in the states. Surely their is scope for the CIC, SMFC and the local community to benefit from the rapid growth of womens football? I would prefer particular focus on 13-16yr old secondary school pupils as this is the age when most girls give up on sport. This would in my opionion create a huge benefit to this particular segment of the community. This initiative would engage with a section of the community which I feel are under valued and overlooked by the club at the moment. This would hopefully get more people through the turnstyles and reduce the CIC's loan repayments via the SROI scheme. However I do realise this will take a fair amount of effort, but feel it would be a great start to enouraging uptake of sport amongst a group that traditionally are forgotten about by Scotttis football clubs. If successfull it would be a WIN:WIN:WIN situation.
  9. you could say you are a different animal........
  10. ye read the FAQs and agree it is a wee bit shit....cheers bud!! what tem are you btw?? i/m languishing mid table at the moment!!
  11. Whats the deal with substitutes?? Do you gain points even if they are in your bench (if they play in real life) or do you need to put them in the starting eleven before the games kick off...how do you put the subs into the starting 11???
