  1. Olhao in Portugal at end of June then PDC in Lanzarote in Nov for the 7th year in a row
  2. SSN just said all tickets for them are sold. I expect that will include w7 and w8
  3. I thought they were but some fans say there not.
  4. If the crowd given is correct that mean there were around 3700 saints fans at the game. That was around the same number as against Motherwell but the main and south stand certainly had a lot more people in it. Must have been some amount of comps handed out
  5. The night before it was closing for good, the barman ask me if I was 18.. Does it matter I said, don't reckon it does he said before pouring my pint
  6. What about the old Lighthouse pub in Cotton St You would have to as old as me or NSS to remember this place. 16 years old and this auld guy in it ask me for a half, I thought he meant a half penny ( pre decimal time here) but no, a whisky he wanted and he was not to happy when I drop a ha'penny into his hand
  7. Has Hibs actually sold 1600 tickets ? The club tend to give around 500 and then increase them to the away team as required. Last year Dundee were said to sold out which started a panic in Dundee before they found out they has only sold the initial amount we gave them.
  8. Well he certainly made an arse of himself more than once Hamilton was a decent player and a decent person and it was good of him to set up the winning goal in the cup final
  9. An Update on important petition. Court of Law Finds Mesh Medical Implant Defective Please read and network this latest Sunday Mail article thanks. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/campaigners-renew-calls-end-mesh-3408119 Please read this Scottish Parliament petition and if you agree please sign and network it where ever you can. http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/gettinginvolved/petitions/scottishmeshsurvivors Current Health Minister Alex Neil has known about this issue since May 2013 and what Has been actually actioned since then? A big fat ZERO. While the Medicines and Healthcare Regulator MHRA reviews the situation they are still implanting these devices into patients. Current medical device safety regulations are not protecting patients. Professor Tom Joyce involved in testing metal on metal hip devices that caused severe Injuries: “There are three major on-going crises with medical implants, metal-on-metal hips, PiP breast implants and polypropylene mesh implants. Each case has raised questions over how these implants are brought to market and how their performance within patients is monitored. There have been government led investigations in many countries into problems associated with these implants. A key issue is what is known as the ‘precautionary principle’; if there is a chance of harm by an item then its use is stopped while the potential problem is investigated. We see this precautionary approach in cars and in aircraft with thousands of vehicles brought back to be checked and planes grounded while investigations are undertaken. Yet the same precautionary approach does not appear to happen when there are concerns with medical implants. This should change. When major concerns exist, implantation of specific medical devices should stop and evidence be gathered and assessed so that an informed decision on benefits and risks can be made. Patient safety has to be prioritised.”
  10. For a plane so big, the windows for the pilot looked so small. Reckon looking behind or sideway don't matter for a plane that size
  11. Bump. Sunday mail has a bit about this on page 31. My thank to those who had signed the petition.
  12. With the club owning the ground, I would say they can decide what is allowed in. Main thing is that it is banned since only thing that should be heard at games are fans shouting and singing for their team.
  13. Thought you were talking about an old pub that used to be in Cotton St until it was knocked down around 1972. Just before it went, an auld guy in it ask me for a half. Being 16 years old at the time I thought he meant a half penny, not a half of whisky
  14. If it annoy most of the home fans, why allow it ? do we not go to games to watch football ? If we had a drummer belting out crap every game, the club would be minus 1 supporter. There is nothing in a guy hitting a drum to the same beat helping the atmosphere at any game, all he is, is an annoying arsehole.
  15. If you sit near the away end like I do, the noise is brutal unlike hearing it in the family stand. Trust me, if someone started banging a drum in the family stand you would change your mind. Would you go into a quite pub and stand at the bar with some idiot banging away next to you because their is no atmosphere ?
  16. In my teens, it was Watermill Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights. Friars Hall on Sunday night with the Normandy Hotel on Monday night. Plus the Tudor Arms on a Saturday before and after our games, those were the days
  17. Please take the time to read and sign this petition. It has important health information for every woman and man in Scotland. If you have not experienced complications from a mesh medical implant device or know someone who has, then you will not know about mesh. 400 and counting in Scotland 60,000 litigating in three states in America, the biggest class action Australia has ever seen, Canada to name a few. Mainly women experiencing complications from mesh devices but men are also experiencing hernia mesh complications. All we ask is five minutes of your time to read and possibly sign our petition. Thanks. http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/gettinginvolved/petitions/scottishmeshsurvivors Thanks for signing the petition and passing the link on. Latest Scottish Sunday Mail article http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/mesh-implant-scandal-victims-urge-3273896 Please network the petition link whenever you can, sincere thanks. If your interested a good source of information on the subject can be found at: http://www.meshmedicaldevicenewsdesk.com
  18. I would say it would be no problem but it is fairly steep for the 1st 2 miles so depending on your fitness and bike, it could be a struggle back up. You could check out the road on street view. Last 3 miles is flat.
  19. Drimsynie Estate at Lochgoilhead is worth a visit. Smashing 5 miles drive on a singe track from the rest and be thankful road. Been about 7 times before but this weekend will be my 1st visit for about 5 years. All the normal leisure pool stuff with a 9 hole goal course in front of the hotel.
  20. Billy Davies in 1 dugout with Derek Adams in the other F me, that would be a laugh a minute
  21. What players were played out of position today ? Only the players f**ked up today, not the manager. Any team that lose 3 goals in the last 15 mins of a game deserved to get slaughters, not the manager
