Hard ‘ol game coming up .
Their home form has been as abysmal as our away form .
I’d be happy to come away with a point - be interesting to see who we have fit . Bloody typical that Stevie May finds his scoring boots the week before we play them. 🙄
May is out of contract at the end of the season so he will be shit again next season i reckon unless he only gets a 1 yr deal 😜

I ordered mine this evening. I don't know if they have stopped putting a programme seller in the West Stand or not. I've certainly not seen one for quite a while. I admit to having stopped buying them every week but I wanted the recent one with Frank McGarvey, which i also ordered online, and yesterday's. Well done to the Club for doing these lovely programme covers to remember our fond heroes! 👏 👏 👏
The guy that was selling outside the west stand before the game was walking along the front of the stand at h/t selling them.
Don't know if he does it at every game.

Ok, so Dunne, Shaugnessey, Baccus, Gogic, Main, Ayunga, grieve and Tanser all out.
so our defence, midfield and attackers - effectively first team, all out. Ffs.
Glad I’m having a pint pre match for a change 😳
Are Shaugnessey, Baccis, Gogic and Main definitely out or just doubtful ?

And I have worked with 3 David Smiths in my working life, none from Paisley. Seems it is a really common name
With the amount of Smith on my wife side and a few David on my side, it certainly is common as you and Slarti have said.

1st goal not helped by poor position by Carson.
2nd look like a fluke to me but they all count.
No consistency by the players game by game, tell me they are not as good as i thought they were a few months ago.
Playing the same way every week certainly seem to help the other team to deal with us.
Piss poor all round and not for the 1st time this season, we f up the chance to get well up the league.

I wish for 1 that he will have a pop at the ref for bad decisions, instead of accepting them.
Oh, and if his beard annoy him so much he can't stop scratching it, just shave it off ffs 😇

Just in from match. Thought we did OK for 75 minutes. Penalty and red card killed us. Have not seen penalty on TV but if it was obvious why did the referee not give if? It took three minutes for VAR to decide to ask the referee to look at it then a further minute and a half for him to decide it was a penalty. As I say I have no idea if it was a penalty or not but with it taking that amount of time to decide it would suggest it wAs not a red card. Apart from that thought we were not bad though we did not look like scoring.
The time involved was a joke and with the var time of our pen to be given, why only 5 mins was added on ?
If we can play like that for most of the rest of the season ( without certain officials in charge) then there is no reason why we can finish in our best league position for a long long time.

Guy far right looked like a guy i knew called Joe Kennedy who was an excellent dart player.
Any idea of the year ?Thought that was him, he stayed round the corner from me, when I was a youngster. Remember watching him on the TV playing in a Scotland v England match. Not seen his son Paul in a while.
He was related to my wife in a big roundabout way but I also knew him from the darts circuit. Didn't know his son but I wish him all the best in his battle with cancer.

Na you’re alright, I’m miles away from there.
Almost never got the place. By the time I had declared a conflict of interest with the St Mirren board in case they decided they maybe, kinda, possibly wanted land somewhere else within the same town, I nearly missed the cut off…
Good news for me after the sad news about Thomson.

I'm with you, right? Imagine fans asserting that the issues at Ralston & the cost to fix them were all the Kibble's fault & clearly were only really to the tune of £80k. I bought my most recent home for over £400k, if only I went for a different estate agent. It would definitely have been down in the £80k region. More fool me, certainly blame the Kibble personally.
Imagine even calling it a conflict of interest when one of the parties, has no interest in it... Some people. Or am I missing something? Did SMFC want to buy that land? Did they have vested interested in it's usage the Kibble are proposing? Do we even know what land it was? I hope they aren't buying out the place that does the Big Yards breakfast, now that would conflict my interests.
They do have trained plumbers they can put you in contact with, it's £4 million an hour if you go through Kibble project management, but if you go through a "reputable" supplier of plumbing, you should be able to get them for a score.
That pesky Gordon Scott as well, he really doesn't get a hard enough time on here. I mean what did he ever do for St Mirren apart from, lead us to fan ownership, oversee several years of financial stability and have the legacy of his chairman run, move a team fighting part-time league 1 football to a bawhair off SP top 6. What an imposter...
There are houses for sale for 400K round the corner where i now live in Renfrew.
Please please tell me you haven't moved to Renfrew 🤮

Expect this game will be a re run of the league game a few weeks ago with the same kind of score line.
Good luck to any Buds that go, but the days are over for me visiting the bigots grounds.
-
Was expecting the game to finish 0-0 after the 1st 30 mins with the players struggling with the wind.
Only plus for me was Gogic, showing he is the best centre half at the club but he is needed more in midfield.
Thankfully games are now finishing in daylight making the walk back to the pub less depressing.

After managing to score 2 goals from dead balls situation in midweek for a change, let hope it something that will continue.
With payday just recently, we could be looking at the biggest crowd of the season which would give everybody a boost.
Only worry i have today is wee Willie is the VAR man, and we all know how it got to be about him.
-
My son put a bet on last sat at half time for the Dons to lose 6-0 and won himself a good few quids.
Hopefully he tempted to do the same tonight 😇

looking at all the other strikers other teams in our league have signed, there is not 1 i would have wanted at our club.
Since Watt does tend to go in a huff easy, a 4 month loan is perfect imho.

Only if you are happy to be bottom of the league 😂

Yeah something like I thought I read it was changed to 15% imo to answer your original post can't see us taking much more than 1000 to this.
It's live on TV with most likely kick off time of around 12 or 5.30 to later Saturday evening or some random time on the Sunday with no confidence from fans of winning so can't see a big scramble for tickets.
Both clubs need to agree ticket prices if no agreement is reached standard league prices apply Celtic and Rangers have previous of playing hardball over ticket prices in these matches so expect anything from £25 upwards although someone on St Mirren Facebook said £20 was their price v Morton.
Sent from my T671H using Tapatalk
Morton sold 2000 tickets so I would expect us to sell more. Early Sat k/o would imho be the best time for most fans who want to go.

When we lift the trophy in May, nobody will remember today's shite.
Lets just see this as similar to the Hamilton game on route to the league cup win.
Apart from the month error, hopefully you are right.

£20? I think the prices will be more than that.
There will, IMO, be more than 40,000 in attendance.
As for the final amount we get, no real point in me making that up but it's certainly going to be handy.
Here's hoping we invest it in somebody who can score goals.
I just base my guess on the price of an adult for their game on Sat and what the crowd was estimated to be.
