  1. 40000 at ÂĢ20 =800K. I think most of the telly money goes into a pot to be shared so not much for us. SFA takes 5% i think. Cost of putting the game on comes out of the gate money before it get split. My guess we would get around 300K. Hopefully a early Sat K/O which would likely be the best time for a large crowd.
  2. I was in that shop all the time when i was a kid and the guy that owned it was under 5 ft tall so likely the same shop. He had eyes behind his head so the chance of nicking something wasn't easy Last i knew it was a hairdresser who did my wife hair before she shut the shop and moved down south a few years ago. Shop was on the left hand side if going down Braids St.
  3. His failing to pass the ball 1 yard to Main while near the Celtic corner flag, started the move that within 10 seconds, the ball was in our net for the 3rd goal. He does look poor if the ball is close to his feet.
  4. I disagree with our form is poor. Reckon we been unlucky in some of those games but yes, we do really need the win.
  5. As well beat as we were, it was just our luck our goal was just offside, 2 of theirs just on, them the luck. Good effort off the bar and a save by Hart that could be as good as any by him in his career. We got Celtic at their best and sadly not the Celtic Killie played on Sat. For all their possession, they only had 6 shots on target to our 3. On the bright side, nobody got sent off or booked for a change.
  6. Now owned by a Saint fan. I have ÂĢ100 worth of vouchers for the place and been told the food is good.
  7. Maybe he just trying to impress Goodwin
  8. If we were to fall into debt, who would we owe it to since the bank won't give us an overdraft ? Don't think we have any rich directors willing to give us soft loans unlike the Dons and the Arabs who owe millions to their owners.
  9. Div gave a good possible answer about the extra staff on P&B and is worth a read.
  10. Since most of the money was spent on things that doesn't come round very often, i don't think it is a big worrying issue. Possible if we didn't have the Gov money, the training ground work wouldn't have taken place, but it been done interest free now. The fact we don't have debt apart from the long term loan to the Gov is also good. Anybody know who the player the chairman spoke about who transfer collapsed on Deadline day last January ? I have read that Tony seem to be getting some blame, anything specific or just because he maybe was poor at the job ðŸĪ”
  11. Excellent point considering we played for 90 mins in total with 10 men. Gogic showing Erhahon how you deal with a wee shit like McKenzie without getting sent off 😂
  12. To lift your arm at any time is stupid, but to do it so early a few yards from the ref is really as stupid as you can get. Max club fine for letting the players and the 1500 fans down, who had paid a lot of money to be at the game.
  13. If memories are right, we beat Hearts in Edinburgh with a goal my Paul Chalmers late in the season of 1987/1988. As usual, we were fighting the drop so happy as we hit a pub after the game. As the scores came on the telly, Falkirk had lost so we were staying up. Then we heard a Heart fan said in a loud voice, that result mean we will need to put up with that wee **** McGarvey again next year 😂
  14. Maybe the same person that sell tickets on match day from the cabin behind our west stand.
  15. Watch a program about him last week on Netflix that was enjoyable.
  16. It would only cost Killie 1 hr wages for someone to man a PATG, the price of 1 fan. Surely the more options fans have to pay, the better. Most clubs seem to assume everybody has a laptop/phone/wifi.
  17. A real shame for someone as talented as him to die as young â˜đïļ Nothing i can add to his ability since all other posters have said it all. Hopefully a minute against the Hearts on Sat since i wouldn't trust them to behave with a minute silence. Trivial, but no surprise to see the press and news all saying ex Celtic and St Mirren player, instead of ex St Mirren and Celtic player, since he played for us 1st and in total 9 years compared to 5 years at Celtic.
  18. I was meaning a normal run of the mill league game but fair due, you are correct 👍
  19. Their best midfielder Holt will miss the game with is a plus for us.

    Paisley Pubs

Maybe to many customers across the road getting jailed instead of probation during the week wont be helping ðŸĪŠ With the Irish shithole next door also closed, it had turned into a dry area of the town.

    Paisley Pubs

Seen today the Court Bar is up for sale and had been for a good while. Wee Barrel, Hole In the Wall, Alamo all gone 😭 Great Saint pub and hopefully it still will be if and when sold.
  22. Even giving the bigots 2 stands, we have never had that crowd and great to see. In fact, the empty 100 or so seats ( worth around ÂĢ2000) in gate money between the Dons and our supporters is a waste of money. Just put some movable screen between the fans so the idiots on both side can't see each other to give the finger to and case trouble.
  23. Poor until our 1st pen then ok for the rest of the 1st half. Well on top in the 2nd half till we missed our 3rd pen then we were lucky not to lose a goal. All in all, we got a bit luck for a change but who is complaining. Oh, does anybody else have a daft mate, who for some reason or other think he doesn't need to tell you when a player been sent off while you are away having a pish 😂 Didn't know till i read the BBC report at h/t on the game they had 10 men since i only reappear from the toilet while VAR was deciding on the Pen. Not the 1st time this had happened to me 😂 And also, i now know how it must feel like to be a *** with all those pen being awarded to us 😂
