When I designed the 2012/13 kits, I worked on them not knowing who the sponsor would be. I asked, no, let's be honest, I demanded that they avoid making them look like a patch slapped on. On the third and change kits, they obliged, and worked on making the home kit logo a tight, neat black rectangle to hold the Diadora wording.
If Div says that picture IS our new kit, and if that kit has those stripes, that sponsor logo, white sleeves and a return to an all-white back, then I better bite my tongue and simply not comment. Would only look like sour grapes, even though it would be far, far removed from sour grapes.
It would simply be that I genuinely find it a pile of utter shite.

This. I don't know who is involved in designing next season's kits, but if it is our BoD or CK, I don't believe they would ask for that. Given what JD Sports own in-house team did with our first JD kit, which was good, I don't think they'd mess around with the stripes this much. Also, such thin stripes couldn't possibly have names and numbers on the back even remotely legible, so would it be a white back again? Having seen the positive reaction to 'bringing back the stripes' on recent kits, surely they wouldn't choose to go back to white backs or white patches again.
Having said that, I'm out the picture, REA is out the picture, so as I said, who knows who is now responsible for designing our strips.
If that turns out to be our real home kit.... Bring back, erm, me!

I really can't believe I even need to ask this. But on what planet does Josh Magennis merit a start ahead of a lad who we've seen all of 4 times?
A 19 year old boy who we chased for 6 months and when we finally signed him, gave him 3 starts before relegating him to 5 minute cameos?
Magennis is a tried and tested failure in the SPFL. His performance tonight made the one which big Bahoken put in on his debut earlier in the season look like Maradona vs England in 1986.
Does anyone genuinely believe, apart from our management team that Josh Magennis merits anything other than a 5 minute time wasting sub appearance when Thompson is knackered?
On the other hand, in Campbell, We have a guy who has proven himself in his short time on the park to be potential game changer for us. A fast, direct, skillful option. Yet we insist on not playing him.
