Ah back to this soul - destroying, mind numbing, shite playing with a defensive set up against a team happy to sit in with 11 men behind the ball and shit fest, kick, scrape and dive at every oppertunity to get a point, how we have fallen from grace so drstically really does hurt me and make me very angry and home games are a real wrench these days.

All the best Marc you are afterall a Buddie who gave his heart for the club he loves.Yes he was not perfect but he is a solid fit pro who would have done fine for us this season along side Webster.Personally I sincerely hope he returns to my beloved Football Club in the future.Just my summing up of the guy and we are all entitled to our opinion.

Remember how happy we all were on 17 March 2013? And he was one of the guys who made us happy. Some of you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Stmirren#1 reacted to Lord Pityme in Not Paying Murray's Wages!
After careful consideration of all the likely effects i have decided to not attend any more home matches until either....
We look like a football team again
Or
Murray and his programmer have left the building!
I really cant bring myself to contribute to their wages, its like paying opposition managers to come and beat us! Yes i know the gate fee goes towards others wages who are actually trying and worth their wage, but i would feel hypocritical to continue to pay someone to destroy our club. Hopefully they will click and make me look like a big diddy. I would take that right now.
I will stick to a few away days, and perhaps a cup tie in the interim.

In all fairness we forced their hand to get rid of Lennon and again alot of Saints fans insisted I.M was the man for the job and also forced the boards hand to appoint a manager sadly we didnt have a scooby about (the Dumbarton fans on P&B did warn us he was tactically naive without Jack Ross).

Stmirren#1 reacted to the barrhead teacher in Saints V Raith Rovers
First half was utterly shocking and summed up by the confusion in the stands following the most undeserved equalizer ever- do you still boo following that effort?
Played well for 25 minutes in the second half... some good intricate play, but has Murray not noticed how all the other teams in the league attack with pace and commit players forward to support, giving options? Constantly our attacks are thwarted by allowing the opposition to get behind the ball.
Listened to Jimmy Nicol on the radio going home who dissected the Saints set up and how playing Goodwin and Carswell together was leaving us inept in defence and midfield.
Once again we see a young, inexperienced manager getting the chance at St Mirren while the wise old, battle hardened' best gig is punditry.
I am losing my patience with Murray.

Yeah it is much easier posting this rather than thinking through a debating point, opinion or position. But its a bit "last year".

This can only be settled with a square go in the centre circle at half time of the Falkirk game.
If either person doesn't show up, they're branded a shitebag for life.
Serious business here, people.

Stmirren#1 reacted to pozbaird in Goal Celebrations
The one I remember isn't from a player, it's from a supporter. The 1-4 win at Tannadice... Archie MacPherson's "Ooh that's a honey of a goal!" commentary. Think it was after the actual 'honey of a goal' itself - all you can see is Santaponsa Saint charging down the steps at a hundred miles an hour, fists clenched, face beaming....
Just one of those things that has stuck with me. Like the bloke on the STV commentary of the 6-2 Hearts win in 1985.... "Bring on the dancing girls!!"...
Player celebrations? Jose Quitongo swinging on a stanchion?

Was never a big fan but sad that he'll join a growing list of players who drift away from the game - probably end up working at Glasgow Airport or Porcelanosa...

It is, we have some of the better players in this league, its the tactically inept, selfish manager who doesnt have a clue, just as the Dumbarton fans on p&b who were warning us (when Murray was appointed) about his negative tactical pish and that Dumbarton turned sincerely pish after Jack Ross left.

If we play the same formation that we have all season (1 up front) I predict another poor result.
We have Gallagher and Thompson, maybe start both and play 2 up front..... We could maybe take a result. However, until Murray starts to get things more tactically viable we will struggle.
I actually think the squad is decent.

Now that was a great day !! Remember a lot of Buddies getting stuck in the grass as it turned boggy after the game and helping push them out then having to fend of around 30+ section B in town centre afterwards

I accept I'll be in the minority on this one but Goodwin was trying too hard I thought, made some good tackles sure, but spent most of his time on the pitch like a dog chasing the ball all over the place leaving the centre backs exposed.

Apologies for such negativity and hopefully dont get too slaughtered however anyone who supports this shower of shite by giving them your hard earned cash should take a long hard look at themselves. I have not felt this down since we got beat by 9 men **** in 2010 final, so down i decided to give the rest of the season a miss, lone behold we skelped Celtic 4-0 3 days later and i missed this monumental victory due to being so disgusted. Unfortunately i can safely say i will not be giving St Mirren football club anymore money until i see significant improvement and a possible board room re-shuffle / takever. I firmly believe that tonight we have lost the dressing room and most importantly the people who pay their money, the fans. I run a business and am self employed and Saturday is my busiest day i used to sacrafice this and employ someone to work for me to take my son home and away to Saints games however will now be doing the sensible option every Saturday and earning a good wage without spending weekends disgusted and out of pocket for watching that dross. Who else feels this way and how many are we set to lose for the rest of the season ??
