  1. Did the salesperson have any info’ on how use of the air conditioning, CD player, lights etc affects the performance of an electric vehicle?
  2. Sorry, couldnae’ resist. Looking forward to your updates in ‘real world’ use, and experience of owning and driving a ‘leccy motor.
  3. Listening to the new Paul Weller album ‘True Meanings’. I’m a big Weller fan, own all his solo albums... this is shit. That is all.
  4. ...and the woman replied ‘I just open my front door and there it is on the driveway’.
  5. Cool and the 70s simply doesn’t equate. Sometimes Mrs Poz and I comment on this. If you look at some of the sharp suits and thin ties worn by the likes of Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin in the 1950s and 60s, and if you look at some of John Lennon’s gear in the early to mid 60s, would look sharp as fcuk even in 2018....imagine walking down the street in 2018 dressed like Noddy Holder or Dave Hill fae’ Slade though.... WT actual F. ...bizarre fashion quirks thread, get this shifted, get it sorted MacPherson... etc.
  6. I actually had a jacket like that one in the photo, except the tartan was red, black and white, rather than the yellow shown there. I matched it with the flared jeans and a black and white Smurrrn scarf with a ‘Scotland World Cup Argentina 78’ patch sewn onto it. WTF was going on in the 70s?
  7. I’m interested in hearing your ‘real world’ feedback Drew, after you’ve lived with the car for at least six months - how did the range you got on a full charge pan out with town / motorway driving? How easy was it to find re-charging places when you were out and about? Is the driving experience enjoyable? How many times did you run down a pensioner who couldn’t hear you coming down the road? That sort of thing.
  8. The worst thing I ever did was to smuggle a can of lager into the North Bank in my sock...well hidden by flared jeans. Imagine doing it today? The slagging you’d take, the shame... for wearing flares.
  9. I kinda’ miss the days when a ‘singing section’ at the fitba’ was just an area of the ground where those who wanted to sing their songs congregated. Could be our North Bank, Celtic’s Jungle, no matter. How did the punters in their Jungle survive all those years without Palestinian flags, or how did me and my ilk manage our youthful enthusiasm without the need for banners, approved or not, tifo displays, drums, card displays, or Plod hammering our doors in the morning without the decency to turn up with a sausage ‘n egg McMuffin meal to sweeten the ‘be an informant’ deal? Seriously, it was far simpler when Hibs nutters just turned up to throw rocks. You knew where you stood in the old days.
  10. If the gobshites are right and we bagged Stubbs purely on the results of the four leagues games he was in charge for, then why didn’t we bag Jack Ross after the first eight or nine games of his reign?

    New SMISA badge

Has the design been approved for wearing while in W7?
  12. I fail to see why that banner was removed. On what grounds could it have been deemed offensive?
  13. Would be interesting to know Sutton’s views on the Celtic squads who were under the stewardship of both John Barnes and Tony Mowbray. Those boys really tried for their manager.
  14. I’m taking a tanking today, and deservedly so. I’m going to sack myself and come back as a new Northern Irish forumster. Seriously though, what I meant was that all the new guys were pretty much unknown to me, so if I saw Brock Madsen, Heaton, King, Kellerman, Cooke, Willock, Kpekwa, etc out on the street in their civvies, I probably wouldn’t recognise them. Coulson has the gingery-blonde hair and stubbly beard thing going on, I might recognise him, and I’ve seen Ferdinand on the telly, so I would know him. I’m just prepared to cut Paddy Bonnar a bit of slack, as we do have a ton of new faces, and Bonnar seems a nice enough chap. Having said that, I’m getting my arse handed to me on a plate on the forum today.... I’m man enough to admit it, I need to up my game.... looking for a reaction next week.
  15. E=Mc2 v pozbaird... 5-0 gubbing for me. Best to accept defeat and move on.
  16. From just looking at the bloke’s name when I first saw it posted on the forum, I hadn’t a clue who he was, what he had done, had I seen him anywhere, or was he any good. I had to look at a photo of him to get a handle on who he actually was. However, that’s enough about all of Stubbs signings. RIP Dudley.
  17. My view on the Dundee game was that there were long spells where both teams were the better team. Was a reasonably even, and entertaining, contest. To be fair, the Dundee keeper acting the Joe Cnut did hand us the three points. It was great. Well played son.
  18. Pat Bonner reporting for the BBC didn't know the names of the saints players either. To be fair to Bonner, I still don’t know the names of many of our players. Seriously, if I walked past at least six or seven of our current first team squad in the street, I wouldn’t recognise them.
  19. Welcome viewers to Fir Park for tonight’s Friday night live game between Motherwell and Aberdeen. Tonight, the token non-Old Firm gobshite panel member has been allocated the purple microphone, and doesn’t he look happy about it. Anyway, off we go. So, Chris, tonight’s big game, Motherwell versus Aberdeen, fcuk that, how do you think the Old Firm game tomorrow at noon will go....?
  20. Indeed. If you completely ignore his ‘snakes and poison’ comments (sounds like a shite Guns ‘n Roses), then he had no idea what he was talking about. He repeatedly stated it was disgraceful, as he’d only been in charge for four games, and had even won one of them. No mention of being unable to get past Queens Park or Spartans, no mention of the abject hammering at Aberdeen, or the manner of the defeat at Hearts. Nothng about not even managing a shot at goal against ten man Sevco. Nothing about Stubbs role in any dressing room issues. Nothng about loading up with loanees, some of whom hadn’t been playing. Nothing about a 75k player sitting in the stands. At least Craigan has the brain power to ask out loud ‘there could have been things going on we don’t know about’, while Ally continued to perform the role he is very good at - being utterly befuddled about it all.
  21. I tune in to watch the game, I never tune in to listen to any pundit surrounding it. The reason I caught Sutton’s comments were that with this being Oran Kearney’s first game, I wanted to see any interviews with him, or any talk about the club. If this had been a Stubbs-in-charge game, I would have been preparing a cuppa’ and would only have sat down for kick off. My idea of a nice evening’s viewing is watching the fitba’ or the NFL...but the thought of listening to Sutton, or indeed Gary Neville, Ian Wright, or Thommo and Stewart gibbering on Sportscene? Not for me. I always record Sportscene or MoTD so that I can simply watch the action, and whizz through the talking heads, talking pish.
  22. How far can Sutton go with his ‘shock jock’ comments, but it’s OK because he’s just being edgy, and is doing it to be the ‘controversial one’? Is being a pundit some sort of immunity card? I genuinely don’t think he was doing it for effect. I believe he was nasty, and his belief is that his big Sellik team-mate pal had been sacked by the big bad Buddies, with our players undermining him and getting him sacked. So he let rip. Frankly, I see it the other way, with Stubbs and Jackson being the cause of any problems, but while I think both of them were shite, I don’t think it would be right for me to phone up a football talk-in and brand either of them snakes or poison. It’s OK for Sutton though? Cos’ he’s on the telly as a mouthpiece?
