I was thinking Callum Ball, James Marwood, Ross Caldwell, Adam Drury, Isaac Osbourne etc.

Fact check required. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_Reilly

Absolutely and in stark contrast I checked where are they now for Tommy Craig’s signings..........................most of them don’t even play football anymore. Now that is the very definition of clusterf**k for a transfer window [emoji85]

Any chance someone can convince Jim to get Thommo or Billy Dodd’s in to work with our strikers...........even bringing in Tom Black to teach penalty taking would be a bonus [emoji106]

Sunderland Speak To Jack Ross
John Gotti replied to Isle Of Bute Saint's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
I’m sure Jack and probably Fowler will be ok but I wonder if Potter and Samson will have made enough to make it worth their time? The biggest loser is P&B as the sacking drove Stu D to post on a St Mirren thread [emoji23] -
Motherwell v St Mirren Sat 5th October
John Gotti replied to faraway saint's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
The worry is that these players are on 2 year deals and will expect a significant payoff. We backed Jim heavily in the summer, so hopefully all we are missing is a Hammill type as wholesale changes would be very expensive. -
Sunderland Speak To Jack Ross

Oh aye and if JR can’t turn some of these draws into wins he will be sacked [emoji17] -
Sunderland Speak To Jack Ross

The bottom line is McInnes could learn how to walk on water and perhaps even make water into wine but our league is so f**king bent that they will still finish third. I don’t feel sorry for them though because they (Aberdeen) had the chance to fix the corruption of our voting system but opted for the status quo................so f**k them and their ex Morton manager [emoji41] -
Welcome Back Lee Hodson

Just watched his interview on Buddievision. Comes across as a really good lad and someone who genuinely cares about the club. -
Apart from setting up the first goal.

Referee Statistics Andrew Dallas and others 2019
John Gotti replied to St.Ricky's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Referee Steven McLean phoned Steven Gerrard to apologise for missing a foul in the lead up to Hibs equaliser on Friday night. (Sun) I can only imagine the grovelling that took place on that call. Scottish football doesn't even pretend to be impartial anymore. -
St Mirren v the West Lothian criminals

It’s funny watching Gary Holt pretend to be the manager. He just walks around while the real boss gives instructions. -

Starting to feel like that, Jackson is isolated and the ball is coming straight back from our hopeful punts. -
Another example of what made him such a nice guy!

Does FAS have a fanny and does Div really know it, also who else’s fanny does he know? [emoji33] #weneedanswers

More Pansy than Tansey? I saw a tweet from Stewart Gilmour where he described January’s window as being full of other managers problems and Tansey is looking every inch the player Dons fans said he was. If the manager is going to keep playing him then he needs a mobile physical player next to him who will do the dirty work as he doesn’t seem interested or capable.
-
I thought that as well. When Nazon got the ball at his feet he looks a player but shelling high balls up to him is not his game. Our midfield is so weak we are inviting teams on to us, the fact Kearney never managed to sign a physical midfielder might be what costs him his job. We’re just too easy to play against.

Looking at the app and it only shows 10. You did show 11 but Jackson doesn’t show up for everyone. Not that it matters other than a bit of fun to distract from how brutal we are.

Games getting away from us.

What we do know is we are terrible and have been for most of the season. You could drive the team bus through the middle of our team and for some reason that isn’t being addressed.

My mate had one of them, it was a pocket rocket. I had a Golf GTi back in the day but I loved the Saxo, Renault Clio 16V, Peugeot 205 GTI etc. Hot hatches are brilliant fun, my current car has just under four times the hp my Golf had but is no where near as much fun.

He did well at Burnley, Preston and Fulham.

Worth noting though that we bought our way out of trouble by bringing in players the majority of the league couldn’t afford, by the end of January we had a top 3 squad. This time around we have a bottom 3 budget and a squad to match. I honestly don’t expect these new players to have the same impact Loy, Smith, Eckersley, McGinn and Davis had at that level because we would need to be signing Aberdeen quality players to do that. I’m not throwing in the towel but we are rightfully favourites for the drop. [emoji53]

The Oran Kearney Interviews Thread
John Gotti replied to shull's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Kearney will 'speak to' angry Baird tomorrow FT: St Mirren 1-2 Motherwell St Mirren defender Jack Baird was none too happy at being replaced in the first half, as manager Oran Kearney changed his formation with the Paisley side trailing 1-0. Kearney says he will not speak to Baird "until tomorrow". "At that point, emotions were running high," Kearney told BBC Radio Scotland. "It was of no detriment to how Jack was playing, it was purely tactical in relation to, I didn’t want to wait until half-time and possibly leave us in a worse position. I felt we had to make that change straight away to make sure we stayed in the game. "We were disappointed with the start, we deservedly got our goal, it lifts the crowd and we expect a grandstand finish. Our goal seemed to zap energy from us rather than give us energy. We just didn’t gather that momentum we wanted." -
St Mirren v Motherwell 6th Feb 2019
John Gotti replied to St.Ricky's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
I think the depressing part is Dundee and Accies new strikers both scored doubles tonight. We look really disjointed from back to front tonight and completely bereft of confidence.
