  1. Not at all bud but it's also not the only factor in us losing to Aberdeen on a day when the weather is a great leveller. The simple fact is many teams seem to perform above their budget, we don't even perform to ours. As Hibs showed last year budgets don't buy success and they don't imply failure either. As for Celtic, their budget is probaly around 20 times ours but even they are proving without the right manager, it still doesn't guarantee success. Even with our limited budget, we are underperforming as a club.
  2. According to the BBC Hamilton have the lowest budget in the league...............yet they seem to be doing ok. The fact we're pish and have zero direction from the board has more impact than budget.
  3. Speaking of, any news on Marwood leaving? Not only is he pish but his f**king pish tweets are filling up the home page. Talentless twat who thinks he is a celebrity.
  4. It's hard to say what GT can do as right now, he has to make sure if he doesn't get the job, he is still going to be accepted back into the dressing room as a player. What the club needs is for some players to be told they're not going to play again and they need to find another club or in some cases, another line of work. Some of TC's signings barely look like footballers, let alone SPL standard, plus a few are in a comfort zone knowing regardless of how pish they play, they are still starting the next game. The club needs a complete clearout and January is a tough month to try that. Even if the players are available, who will sign for an interim manager, knowing a new gaffer might not fancy you? So we are once again treading water. The board need to make their decision quickly to allow us to see if we can move the club in a direction other than down.
  5. I agree Drew, though had we known the option, most would have kept Danny and fired Craig.
  6. If that's the best we could do, I would rather take an unproven manager than a proven failure. However I'm sure better than those have applied.
  7. Didn't Stevie Archibald try that at Airdrie and Claude Anelka at Raith as well?
  8. Totally agree, the good news is the media will smell blood in the water, so he can expect more of that. The icy stare was my favourite part.........he is the manager of a top league club without a home win all season and the only team in professional British football without a clean sheet so far this season, what does he expect, questions about where he buys his jumpers?
  9. Looks like he carried on from the AGM http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/scotland/30252398
  10. To be honest they should be paying him off out of their own pockets as they were the only ones who thought hiring him was a good idea.
  11. Everyone of them except Thompson have been available this season, how did we do in those games?
  12. I don't think he has ever walked away from a club, I think he's always had to be sacked. Tommy is a survivor and always has been, he knows this is his last gig, so he will keep taking the cash as long as the club allows it.
  13. Stevenson's wife went back to Ayrshire and took his son, he then asked to be released by Ipswich.
  14. Please god no! Awful at Hibs after Collins left and awful again at Charleroi. He is a big part of the problem.
  15. He's on £1700 a week, but I honestly don't see how Ryan is going to have a lot of clubs to choose from. He currently gets a lift from hamill as Dave J said and given his missus refuses to live away from Aryshire, which forced him to leave Ipswich when she went home with his lad, he needs either a club he can get public transport to or another ready made chauffeur at any new club. The lad will need to be realistic. He is a fud though, walking round Caprice in Prestwick with 2 bottles of Grey Goose the other week summed him up. Great player though and would be welcome in the Stripes.
  16. I met Tess at a Killie function through work and he said he only left because DL made him promises on his contract and then never delivered. He claimed he is not on much more at Killie but he felt he couldn't trust DL. The lad seemed genuine enough when he said it................but who knows.
  17. Has Michael McGovern still not signed with anyone yet? He would be a decent option.
  18. Aye, January last yearhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16331299
  19. An actual left back would be nice but I'm not even sure we will get that....................so I suspsect the chances of us signing a back up keeper for the back up keeper might be slim.
  20. I think it's great to see St Mirren doing their bit for the society and eductaing these poor unfortunate souls. That and the fact we needed a keeper and he is reasonably cheap. Welcome aboard Grant, now leave your flute at the door son and get back to playing fitba.
