  1. Paul Mcginn was offered a bigger wage at Dumbarton than he was at saints. From what I've heard, we missed out big time.
  2. Our great facility at Ralston was open by then too... Poor from the club. A guy offered the chance to chase his dream at saints hating it so much that he asks for us to let him leave? Never heard anything like it with a young player before.
  3. I wouldn't have McLean & McGinn both starting, one or the other for me in place of Teale. Gowza put his best shift all season in on Monday, and I don't think it's a coincidence that Harkins wasn't playing.
  4. 4-4-2 Cornell; DVZ, Cheesy, McGregor, Grainger; Teale, Newton, McGowan, Harkins; Thompson, Bahoken
  5. I'm sick of the guy behind me in W1, does nothing but abuse the players; I doubt he cheers when we score to be honest. The guy's a f**king wanker.
  6. Start Reilly up front. Back to basics, 4-4-2.
  7. Apparently so mate, I'd imagine his dad must be paying a fair chunk of it.
  8. Sadly, it does, £2000 a week apparently.
  9. Can't help but think a lot of teams will try the German 4-2-3-1 formation next year. Get Goodwin back into a holding role with someone(right now it'd be Robertson) with McGowan McGinn & McLean behind the 'hawk.
  10. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BBnJf98CYAA1tLl.jpg:large I hope every member of the green brigade got charged for this banner.
  11. Just met him in the pub when my Sevco supporting pal said 'Against dufermline to win the league or hearts to win the cup?' And he answered 'scoring against Hearts was 100 times better', absolute hero.
  12. Speaking of gigs, my band are playing in MacSorley's in Glasgow tomorrow night. Drink is fairly cheap and it's free entry. Would be good to see some buddies in continuing the celebrations from Sunday. https://soundcloud.com/thepseudos
  13. 1. When the full whistle went, I was holding my autistic older brother Euan's - who I've been going to games with for 14 years - hand; I then broke down as Carey booted the ball into the west stand. 2. When I saw Stuart Gilmour on the open top bus, still wearing the scarf I put round his neck pitchside after we'd won. 3. When I finally got the chance to read all of yesterday's newspapers earlier on this afternoon.
  14. I'm sure our ex manager Sir Alex is thinking the same!
  15. It certainly lived up to Lochwinnoch Saint's expectations. Absolutely fantastic gig.
  16. Now they know how it feels to be the small team that don't get every decision their way.
  17. There's only one Steven Thompson only one Steven Thompson He's like me & you, he's a buddie too walking in a Thompson wonderland.
  18. When we win, we'll have beaten the 3 most historic teams in Scotland (Rangers are no more), it'll be the most deserved cup victory ever. Can't wait for this one.
  19. McAusland was man of the match for me. He did everything right, and had the balls to venture down to the byline to set up the third at 2-1, when he could easily have just sat back. A St. Mirren fan set up the winner, and a St. Mirren fan scored it. Woke up this morning and my hangover disappeared as soon as i remembered yesterdays heroics from our beloved team. Never been prouder to be a buddie.
  20. Samson DVZ McAusland Goodwin Barron Teale McGowan McGinn McLean Carey Thompson In terms of thinking who should play next week, this is what I came up with.
