That may well be true but having followed Saint Mirren to Belgium, France and Holland I'd love the chance to go to Europe following the Buds again (I'd probably have to take the kids this time though!!).

Step two. Don't fcuk around playing McGowan or McGinn anywhere but their best positions.
Step three. Don't over complicate substitutions which completely messes up a team that were comfortably on top.
Over to someone else for steps four - infinity.

Sadly, Danny makes a lot of decisions that most fans in the ground would not have made and they seem to go against us too often.
F'rinstance:
Bringing on Van Zanten for Cheesy at the start of the second half against Hearts (we lost a goal within 2 minutes)
Replacing Gowser with Harkins in the same game. Most people around me felt Gowser was having a good game and was working hard. The change seems all the more strange now that we know DL doesn't think Harkins works hard enough.
Taking Thommo off with 5 minutes to go against Killie to be replaced by - that's right, Harkins who must have known by then he was heading for the door.
These are just recent examples. There have been many over the years.
In the defence of DL, and all managers in fact, they only get one chance at it. We can sit on the sidelines and talk for hours about what we would have done better, but there are no consequences to those speculations.

Don't know what your getting at but Adam said he was looking forward to playing against sellic and who would'nt after playing in the reserves. As a player he want's to improve himself. Sellic are the opportunity he can thrive on and if he can pop in a goal or 2 then all the better. Maybe I've picked you up wrong but I see nothing but positives in his interview.

Its a good mind game by young adam. The Celic will be thinking they are unbeatable. ..then bang...the wee man scores the winner:)

Well it's THAT time of year again, time to reflect, time to remember family and friends & time to look forward.
We all know what sporting event was our highlight. (Enter stage right Shull )
Whatever this time of year means to people it's time for a new start.
On a personal note I hope all Buddies everywhere have a good New Year & I hope our club continue to give us the highs and lows that come from supporting St Mirren football club.
