Gave the ref the opportunity to give a penalty by lifting his hands... he does it weekly.

But then again there is a bigger picture. Of course... narrow minded judgementalism is perfectly reasonable.

I was annoyed at him for that incident too... but I wonder if something had happened before the match or during training. He was definitely out of sorts today. I'd have brought Ball on for McLear at half time and put Kenny back into central midfield.

Just as well I was in a different stand... I can't abide that abuse of our own players during a match and would certainly have had said something. I heard him from the far side of the family stand... so the player must have too. What the hell kind of incentive is that?

I'm not convinced either way... No real improvements in results... But I have seen subtle changes on the park tactically, an improvement in attitude and effort of the players, and the team actually looking lime a team. Today was a sore one to take but a hard one to judge given the weather conditions.

To the "supporter " in W1 who thought he was cool shouting at Calum Ball shortly after the player came on "Ball yer a Coo"... twice... audibly heard in the family stand so almost certainly heard by the player...
