Mind that time you started getting upset because you thought ‘snowflake’ was racist? 😂

This isn’t quite as bad as that but it’s still embarrassing that you can’t differentiate abuse & criticism.

Mind you, you don’t understand what ‘ignore’ or not engaging with a person is either.

I was never upset, I simply tried to educate you. I know. My bad. You refuse to learn.

"In the 1860s, "snowflake" was used by abolitionists in Missouri to refer to those who opposed the abolition of slavery. The term referred to the color of snow, referring to valuing white people over black people."

    Still... You know best! 😂😂😂

I'm not a fan of Basil and most of his ramblings, but I don't recall much in the way of 'abuse' against the players. I read more abuse by YOU against other forum members.

Not for a long time and only ever two that I defy you to say don't deserve it.

I'd rather abuse them than our own players.

Oh... A quick look back will see you know who regularly abusing out players.

I will always call that out as unacceptable behaviour.

Zero fight today. Not one player has shown a shred of passion or fight.

A very poor and disappointing result.

    We have a choice.

Criticise the players and risk them losing all confidence...

Or believe in them and support them... Help them recover and prove their worth.

These are the very same players who got us up to third... As you love to say our pest performance in years.

Suddenly they are duds to be abused?

I have called you out more than once for abuse of our own players. I'm not surprised that you choose to forget, boo boy.

I am choosing to keep the faith and write it off as one of those days.

    Apologies for being positive!  😎😂

    Spin noted. Defence was pathetic.

You’re comfortably one of the most negative people to ever use this website. We have established that time & time again. it was a civil manner & I’ve never said players & the general team shouldn’t be criticised. They fully deserve it so far this afternoon.

Abuse, 😂 you really are a moon unit.

You cannot stand the fact that I am WAY more positive towards our team and players than you.

Time and time again I have called you out for abusing players. Fact.

You cannot evidence even one incident of me abusing one of our players, boo boy.

We have established nothing other than you live in a fantasy world where you believe your own negative rhetoric. 😂😂😂

Poor game by our standard, hopefully just a blip induced by the sickness sweeping the buddies (based on Robinsons quotes) we are not playing our usual game .

Thats my hope anyway, however all this pathetic etc rubbish FFS we are 3rd in the league, some fans will never be happy

    Yup.

    Poor day at the office.

Some players may well be struggling for match fitness.

Still, easy to be a boo boy.

Not great but what the hell... The season was always going to be full of ups and downs and I'm behind the players and manager all the way.

Yet the manager seems to have agreed quite heavily with my summary eh? 🤷‍♂️

I doubt there’s anything you actually disagreed with as well, you just like to get involved when it comes to me. Cute :)

    Calling players "pathetic" is unacceptable.

Ironic from someone who calls fans "St Moan" supporters.

It IS possible to be critical in a civil manner, boo boy.

Like St Mirren supporters, you turn abusive to the players so readily.

    Terrible first half.

    - Mandron & McMenamin passengers.

    - no faith in Gogic & Taylor partnership

    - defence generally is pathetic

    - they comfortably have an answer to anything we are trying to create down the wings & that’s been one of our biggest goal threats this season.

Needs to change it, you could take off any player, no pass marks so far.

After last two games, hopefully he’s thinking of giving fringe players their chance. This 11 doesn’t deserve to be unchanged next match.

    Boo boy!

At least try and support the team whilst they are still playing.

You might think so, but here's a few snippets from the Hibs fans.

Definitely shafted minor shirt pull then full on dive. Never a pen in a million years. Genuinely think they are trolling us at present.

Did McLean not initally award a free kick for Hibs? If so, why is the foul which caused that superseded by the Obita foul?

Would love to know why the VAR review for St Mirren’s penalty tonight focused on Obita’s foul and none of the other fouls happening in the box.  As it is, it feels like we’ve been shafted by VAR again with very selective use of it.

VAR, f**king typical and that was never a penalty.

Looking at the penalty decision that went against Hibs last night, there are a couple of obvious points to make.  First, Jordan Obita and Richard Taylor appear to be engaged in nothing more than the usual sort of wrestling seen at every single corner in every game of football ever played.

What makes you think our fans would be any different?

VAR would freeze on this... 100% a penalty under modern rules!

Hibs fans are stuck in the days of Enid Blyton.

Agree regarding Mandron but couldn't disagree more with the rest.  Tanser had a great first half resulting in several good deliveries into the box. Kiltie covered every blade of grass trying to make up for Mandron's lack of effort and he used the ball well. Baccus won more tackles in his first 5 minutes than the pedestrian O'Hara had done up to that point.  He also brought a strangely quiet Strain into the game more, and generally lifted the tempo of the entire team as soon as he came on (despite his foul after about 8 seconds 😄).

Well I was grateful to the "pedestrian" O'Hara who was the king of cool taking that penalty.

We deserved that draw even if some think we were lucky to achieve it.

Good teams work hard to create "luck" and right now, that's us.

On our penalty, my Hibby mate has swallowed the bait and believes his manager that there was a foul on the keeper and it was never a penalty.

    I've double checked.

We definitely scored from a penalty.

Oh... In the good old days it would never have been awarded, but there was a definite tug on the jersey and in this day and age, that's a stonewaller.

  10. The Bill Kirchen Trio

I had NO idea what to expect!

    I did NOT expect that!

I don't think anything could have really prepared me for the level of musicianship and enjoyment I experienced.

The 75 year old American with over 50 years experience had us singing along from track 1 and was given several standing ovations at the end of a blistering non stop set lasting close on two hours!

The venue website described his music as a "mash up rockabilly, country, western swing, honky-tonk, jump blues, jazz, boogie-woogie and even the “psychedelic folk rock”".

I don't think that comes close to describing the full range of the one man Telecaster tornado!

    No guitar changes

    No tuning changes.

    No capo.

    No gimmicks...

Yet the range of sounds from the guitar was off the chart.

Add on witty lyrics and it was a truly memorable night for the sell out crowd.

  11. First time making it through to the Paisley  Pie Co today... Knocked myself out... Like a kid in a sweetie shop!

    Pies Pies Pies!

Tonight, Mrs Me had the Chicken Tikka Chasni pie and I had the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken pie...

Both served with home made Bombay potatoes and Dhal.

Wow. Sublime. Both pies were amazing and worth the return trip to Paisley.

    More pies to follow...

    Steak and Gravy.
Steak and Gravy with Stornoway Black Pudding.
    Donner Kebab pie! 😯😎♥️

And this is the reason it isn't trivial, at the very least it was misguided to apply for possible funding before all parties were onboard at worst it was misrepresentation, without having access to all the timeline and documents who can say, much as I wish like everyone else this would just go away now, I have to question why some people think there is nothing at all here to see.

    👏👏👏

Last year it was John Rowbotham and Tam Cowan. Both hilarious.

Raised 9k for the two characters.

That sum was surprised tonight with main speaker Alan Tait, former European Tour golfer.

He followed the guy in this photo.

    Any guesses who he is?IMG_20231028_001631.thumb.jpg.ec636fac478070221ee376805535b6c0.jpg

    Two characters?

    Oops.

    Two charities. Honest.

He played for 14 clubs, including 2 in the USA.

He scored against us at Love Street in a crucial relegation struggle in a 1-0 defeat for us in front of a massive crowd! His team still ended up being relegated.
