A St Mirren fan on a St Mirren Forum gives another St Mirren fan a few likes .
A non St Mirren fan from Arbroath gets very upset.
The very same non St Mirren fan gives himself, over the years , many likes via at least 4 of his own aliases. Don't know how many, could be thousands.
    He seems traumatised.

Privileged to watch this guy rise from being a wee bit in the stripes to Scotland stalwart and if not for Robertson, probable Captain.

Top Premiership player and handsome bugger with royalty among his fans.

He truly is living the dream and fair play to the lad... He has worked bloody hard to make it happen!

I remember years ago, Saints v Celtic at home.

Meatball had Scott Brown in his back pocket the whole game.

He went in for one crunching "hard but fair" tackle on Brown... Who turned to the referee pleading for protection!

McGinn just looked at Brown, put his fingers to his bottom lip, and mocked the Celtic skipper with a wibble wibble wibble gesture!

    Class.

Used to be on YouTube but damned if I can find it.

I said back then, he was not just a successor to Brown in the Scotland midfield, but would have been an improvement and one to build our midfield around for years to come and a potential Captain.

Celtic fans scoffed and mocked... Bet they wish they had opened the biscuit tin after all!

Proud of McGinn and privileged to have witnessed his development.

    What a guy. [emoji41][emoji1022]󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Really tough for me me to separate them.

    Very different type of players.

    Like comparing Stark with Abercrombie.

Two of the finest talents we have produced in decades and proud of both.

    Thanks for that Shull.
Proud of John as well as Stephen and Paul - they are all 'made in St Mirren' and are a credit to the club we all love.
But John was always something special.

I'm not one for gushing over celebrity but this is heartbreaking. I identify with Chandler and Matthew in so many ways.

It’s not often I see a news story that boils my piss but here we go.
Ofgen suggesting that you pay slightly more in your utility bill to subsidise those that are struggling to pay.
People struggling to pay is bad news and these are tough times for many but why ask others to pay?
Instead why don’t the Utilities themselves, instead of paying dividends, give these people a rebate and pay lower dividends?
Are times really that tough for cash strapped utilities?
If this was France they’d already be rioting!

Maybe you should take your own advice regarding following people around the forum?  Your hypocrisy on here is in a league of it's own.
I've told you before that I can tell when I've hit a nerve with someone because they accuse me of being an alias of Shull.  I'm not Shull but everytime you and your band of merry trolls accuse me of being him, it gives me a great laugh.
Why don't you all do what you keep advising others do and ask the webmaster if I am Shull?
Of course, he'll say I'm not although I suspect none of you will ask him as it suits you all to think I'm an alias as more than one person thinking you're all nothing but sad little trolls couldn't be possible, could it?

What a great success last night. Couldn't believe the queue and the amount of kids. Congratulations to Keith Lasley and his volunteers and the first team squad. [emoji106]

If you're buying a season ticket this 100% doesn't apply to you. You're essentially watching a product you're paying for (at least WRT home games).
However, anyone who watches our games and does not pay for them is effectively stealing from the club. The analogy of fare dodging is a good one. The club exists due to those who pay for it. Those that get entertained by the club's product but do not contribute are at the very least freeloading, but I think in all honesty it is stealing.
People sometimes believe that unless they're actually robbing a tangible good, then they are not stealing. However, as with pirate videos, it is a crime.

I would turn a blind eye to robbing from English Premiership clubs (I don't - I have no interest in English football), but robbing Scottish clubs and, in particular, our own club is not good, IMHO.

I have used these facilities when i can't or don't go to games, but I also buy a season ticket every year,  On the odd occasion when we've had a PPV game at home and I can't go...  I pay the fee because I can and want too and choose to support the club,  if you're not a season ticket holder watching and not paying is stealing from the club
There are a lot of tight arse freeloaders who wouldn't dream of paying,  I know plenty myself

No judging on my part FS but there are a number of domestic games each club can show on PPV platform the last couple of seasons, it may even be something as simple as any game not on a Saturday at 15:00. There is no question that anyone watching these games on their Firestick, Dongle or whatever are denying their own club revenue much in the same way as fare-dodgers on Scotrail do for example...."theft" may be too strong a word right enough.

I would suggest the vast majority of these PPV games are for overseas viewers and there are still supporters who do pay for this service.
His particular mate has, on the surface,  decided, for whatever reason, he's not for attending and is accessing this service the only way he can as viewers on Scotland are not included in these games.
He will probably be watching on other clubs TV services into the bargain.
While I acknowledge there is a loss, but not stealing, the attendances are as good as they have been and the losses are Insignificant.

I would guess the suggestion being that the club put on a PPV offering within the rules and guidelines of SPFL and which makes the club money, his mate is watching it and paying nothing to the club for the service.

    That's a shame to hear.
Hopefully money will filter into local businesses from the increased Waterfront activity.
Totally agree about the Beacon. I've been to a number of gigs in there and it is a fabulous resource.

Sounds like a good night BinEK.....With regards to the regeneration of Greenock, I live and work in Inverclyde, Scotts has been a welcome addition to the area but we'll see how it does longer term as Greenock hasn't been great at supporting it's restaurants this last ten years or so. The regeneration, good as it's been, pretty well stops at the Waterfront and is a bit of a gripe for the local citizens as the money has been spent for the Cruise Ship Tourists and not the locals (not my gripe I hasten to add). The Beacon, which I like, cost a fortune and loses money year on year which is a pity as it's a fantastic facility. Beyond that Greenock is in a pretty sorry state I'm afraid until you get through to the West End and into Gourock.

Was a good gig, 25 years since philophobia was released, then played a few newer ones, first time I’ve seen them and they didn’t play First Big Weekend but they did play the girls of summer. New album and a Barrowlands gig for 2024.

Had a lovely night last night... In Greenock!
Went for dinner first in Scott's down at the waterfront.
It has to be said... The regeneration of Greenock has been quite incredible, leaving Paisley as the rundown Inverclyde sibling. 😥
Last night was a great show as Greenock based but Paisley born singer celebrated 20 years as a solo artist with a sold out gig in the Town Hall.
In her band was Wet Wet Wet guitarist Graeme Duffin.

I did notice a “trial by Sportscene” last night in the video footage where they showed the first half challenge by Tanser 3 times. A bit weird but they have history of trying to get our players retrospectively punished.

I understand that referees making the step up to the top division will lack experience but do these referees ever get their first matches in the top league with Celtic or Rangers games first? I very much doubt it. That is unfair. It should be a level playing field for everyone.
I would like to see the statistics on that. If they are deemed good enough for the top league then any matches should be considered.
The referee and his west stand assistant had a pretty standard game. Fcuking awful. The weakness of the assistant referees to get involved in helping the on field ref with key decisions in the game is baffling at times especially when the incident is clear and obvious and invariably directly in front of the assistant. It seems that all assistant referees only involvement is with ball leaving pitch and offsides. Given the latter is now VAR decided for goals it seems they receive a huge amount of cash for fcuk all.

He also failed to see a stonewall penalty as Taylor was dragged to the floor so hard if it was Goldson they would have needed a JCB to dig him out the ground
