Guy back left beside John Young is Joe Devlin from Glenburn, we were at St. Peters and St. Mirirns together. Also had the flat below me when I lived at 6 Incle Street.

Guy back right is Rikkie Aitken, lived in Lancraigs Drive in Glenburn, a long forgotten pal from my childhood from when I lived in Glenfield Road .

Thanks for this Ian, Memories indeed. 👍

Had a look on their website as i couldn't remember what it said on our tickets which arrived last night......looks like we are tucked into a corner of the East Stand

Yep, in that same corner as before, my two brothers usually come up but when they see this it will be a no. Especially after last season thought the view was pish and we were very close to the guys with the Drum. Heads were bursting after about 10 mins.

I may have a look at Hospitality.......

I mentioned this to my mate, he did suggest a better view in the corner rather than behind the goal which is probably correct.

Is it definite we are being shovelled into that wee corner ?????

If we are then no thanks to the prick with the flag who jabbed the County Keeper last year, that’s why we are getting chucked in that corner. That info from County people.

If by rotten you mean made up tosh designed to annoy the f**k out of people with its level of childish attention seeking …… then yes, I agree 👍

I agree, he’s over on the match thread with more desperately trying to be controversial attention seeking pish.

    Definitely the Fuds Fud………..

Just flicking through Netflix and it occured to me that in my almost 64 years there's been many things that have been memorable as time has passed.

One of the early things was out first colour TV, the first programme that I remember watching was Up Pompei and just being amazed at colour.

No real idea when, can't be arsed Googling, too much searching goes on, I'll just stick with my memory of Frankie Howard in glorious colour.

First thing I saw in colour was the 1970 FA Cup Final, Leeds v Chelsea, in my schoolmates Hoose in the street that runs alongside Brodie Park. Big Hoose, big telly by standards then, his old man was Oswald Dundas  who owned the Bookies next to Ronnies  Bar. If your looking in, Hello Big John Dundas 👋

Naw. Only played 40 games in last 4 years and that was in the Japanese 3rd division, Iran and Indian Premier Leagues. Scored 8 goals in those 4 years. Let's just keep the happy memories.

This ^^^^^^  I’m amazed folk want to bring Isma back, he’s played at all these no mark places for a reason…..

While we are at it, what’s Andy Dorman up to these days………

i think killie will go straight back down imo

Unless they spend a load of money , I agree with you. Any time I saw them on the telly they were no great shakes. That whole division, admittedly on the telly ,were eye bleeding to watch. That’s been the worst fare on show in that division by some distance for a few years.

McCallums in Union Street is pretty good as well.

McCallums can be a bit “lively” at times, I never walk past on their side of the street.😬

Revolution in Church Street, 30 seconds from Gellions which is across from Town Hall.

Bottom of Academy Street, three pubs within 50 yards.

McGregors, good food and live music, usually traditional.

The Foundry….as above, pot luck with music, differs by week, last time I was in it was really good.

    Blackfriars….good food, nice enough pub.

A few choices for you, hope it’s on the back of three points.

    Cheers.

Hotel' been booked for a while now.

What's Inverness like for nights out? Got any recommendations for pubs. Live music(rock/northern soul) a bonus.

    Thanks

Think I’ll go to the County match. It’s only just over 2hrs drive for me and I think the offer of a pre-match visit to the Wimpy may swing it with the family.

Just because you saw me in the photo outside the Wimpy the last time we were up there…….😉

Not sure how many of them exist, it’s the only one I know of.

From memory in Upper Gallowhill we had Parducci's, Trento, Geordie and occasionally Walls.

I worked on the Trentos van in Gallowhill when I was 13 .. at first with a local guy and then with Dominic Girasoli,

one of the Sons,Trento was the old mans first name ,he was always in the Cafe in Renfrew, good old guy.

Later I worked with my Brother on an Izzis Van up on the Neilston run for a couple of years.😱

    Good times and great memories.🍦
