  1. I Believe it was JFK that said "Ask not what St Mirren can do for you, Ask what you can do for St Mirren" Best thing we can all do is stop giving them money. pick a game and no one turn up they might get the message but probably not Edited due to night spent in the Three Judges Partick
  2. Complete waste of time & Money, even if you drove this road and managed to avoid being behind a Caravan, lorry, slow driver or encounter Roadworks chances are you'll stop for a break at House of Bruar or Rallia, Money would have been better spent upgrading another section to Dual Carriageway or providing psychiatric help to the Guy in the layby just before Bruar. And what is the purpose of telling drivers that the camera's are not in operation ?
  3. Bit cloudy at the moment but ...... Huge numbers of charged particles heading towards the earth's atmosphere mean that stargazers in northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland should be able to glimpse the Northern Lights tonight. Two large explosions on the sun's surface have sent massive numbers of particles flying towards earth, heightening the chances of colourful aurora borealis displays. Forecasters say that fog and low-hanging cloud could hamper the view of those living inland, there will also be some clear skies. Getting away from artificial lighting will heighten the chances of seeing them. The first of two coronal mass ejections, huge bubbles of gas from the sun, hit the earth's atmosphere overnight, according to the Space Weather Prediction Centre in the US. A statement on its website said "storming" could even go on until Sunday, September 14.

  5. Trovi is an absolute nightmare to remove worse for some reason on Chrome rather than Internet explorer best to download updates from Adobe direct rather than a dialogue box
  6. Why are you Stunned ........ As Shirley Bassey one put it "all just a little bit of history repeating" "Danny Lennon was the only man interviewed for the Saints manager's job, according to club chairman Stewart Gilmour. The former Cowdenbeath boss was officially presented to the media today. Since Gus MacPherson was sacked a month ago, there has been much speculation about who would come in to replace him. Kenny McDowall, Tommy Wilson and Willie McStay were just some of the names mentioned, and there were strong rumours that McStay had been told he'd been offered the job. Lennon, who has signed a two year contract, was only interviewed on Friday before being taken for a tour of the training ground at Ralston. When he returned, he was offered the job and quickly accepted the deal and compensation with Cowdenbeath - which includes a pre-season friendly with Saints - was finally resolved yesterday. According to Mr Gilmour, Lennon was the only man interviewed: "He was the only person that was interviewed. "We looked at all the CV's and we took up some references from people in the game we trusted to give us a reference. And when we interviewed Danny we always had the view that if he came up to the mark in the interview and his philosophy on how he saw the Club was similar to ours then he would get the job." Whether or not this is the truth is hard to tell, as this time last week Mr Gilmour had said he was hoping for an appointment as early as last Friday, which would be difficult considering Lennon wasn't even interviewed until then!"

  14. For some reason I am having a problem posting links however I would hate to see you disenfranchised by the immorality of others Stuart so if you search Wikipedia they list a history of 44 politicians who have criminal convictions, but every party seems to be covered so not much help really and they have a few notable omissions and I'll try to be impartial here Harvey Proctor (con) John Stonehouse (Lab) then we would also have to take into account those who we know or suspect are/where rank badjins but have never been convicted Cyril Smith (lib). It is also amusing & enlightening to follow this link to its conclusion with the final link from Bob Castle (freedom of information officer) www.whatdotheyknow,com/requests/mps_with_criminal_records

  20. Yes I know Cj (I didn't get where I am today without being a dick) left to further his career( that worked out well) however a boy's allowed to dream. If you are serious about putting together a team then I would suggest entering local pub Quizzes before looking like a dick on TV, I'm ok on Art, Geography, Music 1960-1980, TV & Film, anything other than that I'm crap, Yes even sport they could ask the name of St Mirrens,,...........,,,,,? I would get it wrong. Apart from that Cj was first choice there are so many "celebs Who I would pummel with Gusto

  24. St Mirren manager Danny Lennon: "There was a lot of attention on Pat Fenlon's credentials at the beginning of the season. "But Pat's been strong, he's put one or two results together for them to climb up the table and that's great management. "I certainly believe that I'm the man to take this club forward or I wouldn't be here. "If the time comes that they decide to move Danny Lennon on, then what I would ask is, what do they expect from their new manager?" A :- A win Danny or at least a shot on Goal Nice man or not, Cup win or not I’ve had enough, Do the decent thing and go now Danny
