  4. Having average speed cameras on this stretch of road will be fairly ineffective as most stop for a coffee, toilet bit of shopping at The House of Bruar or Avimore that and getting stuck behind a Caravan on a single lane section will keep most journeys to the average speed may however have helped the Girl last week who was sitting in Bruar, tears streaming down her face as she had been flashed doing over 100mph , Oh how I laughed.
  5. I believe they are popular with the Criminal & illegal drug dealing fraternity
  6. The museum is a fantastic day out and just a short walk from the Bow Bar one if the best Edinburgh has to offer, and as you where subjected to the less than entertaining street buskers you may be interested in this (I doubt it will have any effect but if enough sign who knows) I know we live in a democracy and every one has rights but demonstrations and parades which may require road closures and excessive policing are routinely refused permission by GCC or at least told they'd need to pay for the privilege. The West End Festival had to find £15k to close Byres Road for a community parade this year, meanwhile... 'There will be 57 parades through Glasgow next Saturday, as about 4500 members of the Protestant Orange Order and tens of thousands of supporters gather in the city for the organisation's biggest event outside of Northern Ireland.' For the Orange Walk, no charge. It is, of course, also hateful horseshit. Just because they don't sing the words doesn't mean the sentiment isn't there. http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/glasgow-city-council-stop-allowing-orange-walks-in-glasgow-city-centre

  8. Use to sell Power washers in Previous employment, problem with this choice or similar Brands (including Kartcher) is getting them repaired when they develop a fault or parts need replaced. If you are prepared to spend the money then choose a Stihl http://www.stihl.co.uk/STIHL-Products/Pressure-Washers-and-Vacuums/0310/High-Pressure-Cold-Water-Cleaners.aspx or Makita although not as good/reliable Makita are fairly good and spares/repairs are easily available http://www.makitauk.com/products/front/?id=1281
  9. This may help, still fail to see where the glowing praise for the BBC and it's complaints procedure is merited http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-22951447

  12. Nice thread, Our summer holidays where spent in a small village in Devon where my Gran lived. Day's spent playing in the farms around the village or going down to the Ambrosia Factory where we played Russian Roulette with the bent/unlabelled tins (dreading a tin of Tapioca) then as we got older Ambrosia moved to LInton and we moved to the Inches Cider Works in Winkleigh no bent tins but lots of tasters with no complaints about us never buying as Sam Inch fancied my Grans sister.

It has no value unless you are willing to degrade it for money. That is all that matters now :-(

The only "value" being addressed at the mo is the value of the consortium's shares !

  17. As far as I can see it's not about punishing Newco Fc it's about the whole of Scottish football listening to the Paying customer the majority of whom want to preseve a league that treats all members with the same Laws & Punishments (something we have not had for a long time but now have a chance to install) so With apologies to Sidney Lumet’s “Network” I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The Pound buys a Penny’s worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. And we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that a Football Club got caught cheating and might get demoted to division 1, as if that's the way it's supposed to be! We all know things are bad -- worse than bad -- they're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out any more. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, "Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my Sky TV package, and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone." Well, I'm not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot. I don't want you to write to your Member of Parliament, because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Rangers Football Club and the crime against HMRC. All I know is that first, you've got to get mad. You've gotta say, "I'm a Football supporter, goddammit! My support has a value!" So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!!"
