  1. So we should be using fans money to pay the players extra money on top of their wages for coming 8th in the league when the target at the start of the season would have been at least 4th?
  2. Or for the real optimists... 1 Hibernian FC 36 20 12 4 58:23 35 72 2 Falkirk FC 36 17 10 9 57:38 19 61 3 Greenock Morton FC 36 15 12 9 44:35 9 57 4 St. Mirren FC 36 13 9 14 53:50 3 48 5 Dundee United 36 13 8 15 42:44 -2 47 6 Dumbarton FC 36 11 10 15 44:55 -11 43 7 Dunfermline Athletic 36 9 15 12 43:45 -2 42 8 Queen Of The South 36 10 10 16 42:51 -9 40 9 Ayr United 36 9 12 15 35:58 -23 39 10 Raith Rovers 36 8 12 16 32:51 -19 36
  3. It's £70 an hour to rent the dome for 7 or 8 asides.. so about a fiver per head for an hour. So if you look at it that way it was really cheap at £1.50 an hour and is still pretty good at £3 an hour. Hope you could scrape together the extra £2
  4. I put my result predictions in without thinking too much about how it would affect the final table and ended up with this. Qute surprised as I thought I'd have Raith in 9th and Dumbarton above us. 1 Hibernian FC 36 21 12 3 57:23 34 75 2 Falkirk FC 36 18 10 8 60:40 20 64 3 Dundee United 36 15 12 9 52:42 10 57 4 Greenock Morton FC 36 14 13 9 45:35 10 55 5 Queen Of The South 36 12 10 14 49:52 -3 46 6 Dunfermline Athletic 36 10 13 13 45:47 -2 43 7 St. Mirren FC 36 9 11 16 47:55 -8 38 8 Raith Rovers 36 9 10 17 32:50 -18 37 9 Dumbarton FC 36 8 11 17 47:62 -15 35 10 Ayr United 36 7 12 17 34:62 -28 33
  5. How much would a childminder charge per hour without the professional football coaching thrown in?
  6. Keep the same team with Stellios in for Morgan in midfield and Irvine at RB. Another early goal to settle the nerves would be great.
  7. Don't think thats true, would certainly be a set back but say we draw and Ayr and Raith lose.. we'd be 9th with a chance to go 8th on Tuesday night.
  8. I started going along to the games with my dad occasionally about 97/98 when I was 6/7.. then came the millenium season and I was hooked. Hopefully the last few years haven't put off the young fans who fell in love with St Mirren when we won the league cup.
  9. To be fair the Morgan injury wasn't a foul was just a 50/50 and he's been unlucky to take the full force of it on the ankle. Don't disagree in general though there was a few baffling decision on Saturday as there usually is with these refs. Booking Mckenzie for time wasting when 5-0 up was the worst one, Jack Ross was sensible to take him off or he might have been sent off as he was getting wound up.
  10. Even before this weekend I thought Raith were the ones to catch not Dumbarton. Both would be nice though.
  11. What was the gap at the highest? 8 behind Ayr and 11 behind 8th spot at one point I think it was?
  12. Was a bit annoying having the Drum in W7 with W6 almost empty. I sit in the main stand and it created 3 seperate singing sections at times with each end of the west stand and then the main stand all a bit out of time... maybe we just need more practise actually having a sing song at home . Was good to have such a good game and result with all the free tickets for kids, usually when we have all the kids at the game we get beat but a game like that could get a few of them hooked for life.. little do they know they might need to wait another 10 years for a result like that again .
  13. How many does the Cowshed hold? Surely not enough for what we'll take through?
  14. I have a ST in the main stand so it doesn't really affect me but I've never really understood putting the away fans in the West stand, does it really save much money not opening the away stand compared to putting the segregation in place and having extra stewards next to the away fans etc. Get the away fans in the away end and fill the corner of the west stand with free tickets for kids if necessary.
  15. First game I'v missed in a while, cheers to whoever was periscoping the game in the 2nd half on the BnW army twitter, turned on just in time to see us win the penalty. How many buddies were there? Sounded like they were in fine voice again
  16. THe good thing is that Ayr play Dumbarton on Saturday so it's not a disaster whatever the result, either Ayr win and we are 4 behind Dumbarton with a game in hand and still to play them at home... or Dumbarton win and we're 1 point behind Ayr and play them at home next... or a draw and we're 5 points and 2 points behind still to play them both and a game in hand over Dumbarton. No matter what the other results are, if we beat Ayr and Dumbarton chances are we'll be off the bottom going into the game in hand against Morton.
  17. They have changed the rule recently so the team commiting the foul doesn't get the advantange of the other team being temporarily down to 10 men.
  18. I had to google it to see if the offside from a goal kick rule was correct, I never realised that before. Pretty sure players are called offside from goal kicks fairly regularly. Sutton seems to get manhandled every game when going for high balls and very rarely gets any fouls, I think he's pissed off the referees over his career.. or maybe he's getting the flack from his brothers comments about referees.
  19. Hope your right, we've certainly been working on set pieces anyway.. the first goal and the goal at parkhead were straight off the training ground by the looks of it. Langfield tweeted something last night along the lines of "I'll keep telling you where to go and you keep putting it there" and a pic of Mallan celebrating the goal, so you might be on to something.
  20. I've seen it back and although it's really well placed in the corner from Mallan.. no idea what the keeper is thinking.. he's basically presenting half the goals to Mallan who he must know is good from set pieces.
  21. Predicted 13, we're on 11.. and I'd be dissapointed if we lost at QoS.. think a point is a fair prediction.
