  1. You were moaning that you didn't want it happening near you or having a banner over your head so they have organised to have it in a specific section so it's easy for you or others to avoid. Now you're moaning about being told where to sit.. they are going to be a section of about 100 people in a crowd of thousands of Saints fans its hardly a huge inconvience to you. No-one at any point in this thread has insinuated that people who aren't into the banners/flags/drums or whatever are any less of proper fan so stop being an arse.
  2. It's hardly a scam, if the bookies offer odds on something so stupid which has no element of chance then they're going to be exploited. If it went to court how would the bookies prove he wasn't just hungry.
  3. I think he just wants to play Storrie as he's our only sitting midfielder with Quinn injured. With TNS I'm guessing he didn't know what expect having not seen much of them so went conservative and then changed things up at half time when it clearly wasn't working for us to sit in.
  4. It was a pasty anyway so they won't pay out. Would serve them right for offering odds on ridiculous stuff anyway.
  5. Absolutely agree, didn't have his best game at Dumbarton (until the last 20 mins at least) but made the all important 2nd goal driving through the middle and playing a perfect ball through to Morgan, he can be a game changer when he's in the right position.
  6. Good to see Mallan get on the scoresheet again on Sunday and played very well in the 2nd half when he moved inside to play alongside Mcginn. Think they can make a great partnership in the next few months and Mallan will learn alot from playing beside him.
  7. Thought he stood out in the first half, great goal and was unlucky not long before that when he sold Storrie a good dummy and produced a good save from O'brien. Should be playing at a higher level if he's only 24.
  8. I'd go ahead with the 8th March since it's away, maybe just not drop people to the bottom if they're dropping out to go to the game. As requested.. match report for last nights game (even with teams as I have the bit of paper I wrote them on sittin on my desk in front of me!) Teams: Non Bibs - Nicky, Stef, Charlie, Gordon Scott, Stuart C, Graeme R, Neil Cameron, Niall Cameron Bibs - Scott Townsley, Scott Steele, Big Mark, Fraser C, Gerry, Sean R, Thomas R, Martyn Non Bibs scored early after a Stevie Mallan esque run and finish from Niall and controlled the game for the first 20 mins, they should have been more than 1 ahead after 20 mins or so with the bibs struggling to get on the ball and too busy arguing with each other. The non bibs seem to tire from then on and a poor spell was capped off with Stuart almost decapitating our chairman when he took a rocket to the face at point blank range. The bibs gradually came into the game and grabbed a 2 goal lead with about 5 mins to go before the Non Bibs rallied and pulled 2 quick goals back to level it up. A long range curling shot from myself was well saved before Martyn kindly nodded into his own net to give the non bibs the lead and the non bibs then added another to seal the victory late one. Good game, and a few well worked goals. New 7 aside goals are up!
  9. I think so many games in a short period can be good as long as we win at Ayr and put in a respectable performance at Parkhead and then we can carry that momentum into the games. If we lose/draw at Ayr and take a hammering at Parkhead then we could implode.
  10. With us playing Celtic on the Sunday now this one will have to be moved to midweek. Any word on when it will be? Could be either the 8th March or 21st/22nd March looking at our schedule. Going to have 2 games a week most weeks for the next month or 2.
  11. Does any 'go fund me' provide receipts or budgets? Your donating in good faith that it will be used for the proposed purpose, if you don't trust them don't donate.

    Buses For Ayr

Time for at least 3 beers on that flight.

    Buses For Ayr

I would usually travel to Ayr by train but since they have a replacement bus service between Kilwinning and Ayr it has put me off that option. The replacement bus services take forever as they need to stop at every station the train would have stopped so that would be Irvine, Barassie, Troon, Prestick Airport, Prestwick town then Newton on Ayr.. not exactly the quickest route!

    Buses For Ayr

Considering the extra money the club are getting in from the Celtic game, probably over £200,000 then it would be a great idea for them to run a fleet of buses for fans to Ayr. Don't know how much a coach costs to hire but say they put on 10 coaches I would guess it would only cost about £5000 surely?
  15. I watched the Livingstone v TNS game on that channel in English so assuming it'll be the same this time.
  16. Since we had so much activity in the transfer window in January it would have been worth bringing Paul Mcknight out of retirement and sticking him on the bench just in case it's 1-1 late in the game and we need a hero.
  17. Cheers, would probably need to order tomorrow to be safe then.
  18. If buying tickets online, how long do they take to get delivered usually?
  19. Exactly. Even if the club sent what was left back to Dumbarton on the Friday night and Dumbarton could sell them on the day.
  20. So can we not turn up and buy a ticket at the ground before the game? I was going to wait till the weekend and make a last minute decision wether I could be arsed going or not but this would make me not go since I don't live in Paisley and can't get to the ground midweek to get a ticket.
  21. It's being fixed this week and should be back in use by next week.
  22. They also have 6 points (all draws) from the last 12 games and we have 9 in that period.. you can make stats say anything you want. I think we need to just concentrate on catching Ayr, especially since we really want Dumbarton to beat them the weekend we are playing in the Scottish Cup. If we get to a playoff with Alloa or a similiar team then we just need to bank on us winning that over 2 legs, if we can't do that we don't deserve to stay up.
  23. Cheers mate. We were all in danger of having a little hope there. Glad you sorted that out we wouldn't want that would we.
