Dissapointing to only draw but the main thing for me was that we created alot of chances, something we weren't doing at the start of the season. On another day we could have had 4 or 5.. missed pen, header off the line, several mallan shots just wide or saved, hardie hit the bar and plenty more half chances. Some of the abuse Shankland was getting was a joke, he played ok first half linking up with the midfielders and yes there's no excuse for missing the target with a penalty but it happens to much better players than him. After the penalty he was obviously low on confidence and could clearly hear the abuse he was getting from the some of his own fans.. what good is that doing? If he'd stayed on and scored the winner the same fickle fans would have been singing his praises.

Total over-reaction by people as usual, the whole point in democracy is that everyones opinion and vote counts. So if you don't think the money should be spent on players.. vote no. Although I do agree that more alternative options should have been given rather than a simple yes/no.

If I predict us to go on a decent run and I end up looking daft cos we lose most of them then so be it but I'd rather that than be a moaning doom merchant.

We’ve got a decent run of games coming up from December to the end of February that when you look at them all individually are definitely winnable (apart from maybe Dundee U away) if we play like we did this week. Ayr (H) Dundee U (A) Morton (H) QoS (H) Dunfermline (A) Falkirk (H) Dumbarton (A) Ayr (A) It’s not out of the question to take 18+ points from that run, at the moment we’re 13 points behind the playoff spots so we could get ourselves back in the hunt. It’s a massive ask though ask considering we haven’t won 3 league games on the bounce in years, I’d be happy just to get to 8th by then.

Think you might be right there technically but I've never actually seen a ref give an indirect freekick in the box apart from for a passback. Imagine the uproar from the raith fans if he'd blown for a foul and gave an indirect freekick rather than a penalty
