Meaning your point on lockdown killing more people than the pandemic must be unfounded 🤷♂️

Given our "brush" with Covid last season, you can see to an extent why the club is being OTT.
The last thing the club needs is to be accused of being lax if some sort of spreading of Covid takes place that can be linked back to us.
Factor in that there will always be people who publicise breaches of protocol. We don't need fans heading for social media telling all and sundry that there was no social distancing in the bogs etc.. Big brother will be watching.

I was referring to the perceived arrogance of entire nations, which had been brought into the conversation for some reason.

Stayed away last night as I was too ensconced in the game.
Wow!! That Renfrew156 guy is like 5 year old wean 🤣. And he appears to have a massive hard on for the TA who according to him appear to be the only set of fans who dare to enjoy themselves when they go to away games.
Anyone thinking that just because Croatia might not be quite the team that got to the World Cup final, meant that we ought to be on a par with them is mental.
They were streets ahead of us last night.
This wasn’t your typical Scottish disaster/f**k up. We just lost to a much better team on the night.
I’m nowhere near as disappointed as I’d normally be under these circumstances. Sometimes you’ve just got to accept you’re not quite there yet.
I’ve got high hopes for our young squad and I see a bright future. At the moment we’ve got the makings of a decent side but we urgently need to fill some gaps.

Covid test time, doing my bit for the safety of my fellow human beings. Even the pricks that think they know everything. [emoji848]

I said on here after his first game , that Connolly clearly had pace but that was it , he was a headless chicken. Sure he had his moments , but they were few and far between. If we bring someone in who can provide some decent crosses , then that will be an instant improvement !

Not fussed with this in the slightest , yes he had pace but what’s the use of pace if you constantly run into cul de sacs or can’t cross. ?
we can and will improve on Connolly fairly easily .

I'm originally from an island in Argyll, still have a house there and haven't visited it since the summer.......the people on the island have requested that no-one outwith the island population or people on essential business be allowed on the island until three weeks after the lifting of the travel restrictions on April 26th, they took a vote/poll on the island and that was the outcome. The reasoning behind it being that they managed to keep Covid at bay by not having visitors and, using Barra as an example, want to make sure that continues. It doesn't suit everyone on the island but that has been the collective decision and if, as suggested, the FM will allow islanders to make their own decisions that's what it will be.....I think many of the areas you have quoted (especially Shetland and Western Isles) will be similar due to the age and vulnerability of their populations.

No don’t get me wrong. I’m not advocating lumping it forward willy nilly. But there was literally umpteen times tonight when the wing back was on for a pass from the midfield, but instead they turned and passed it back to the defence. McGregor was absolutely criminal tonight for it. Any number of times Fraser was completely free on the right wing screaming for the ball. When I say we’re not direct enough I mean we don’t MOVE the ball forward enough, not LUMP it forward. We need to take more chances. Be more adventurous. Especially against a team like the Faroes. We take “patience” to an extreme.

What a crock of shite Tory boy.
Unlike you it would seem, others pay attention to how political decisions affect the population as a whole.
I also don't blame "other people" for everything. However, I do want those , who are responsible for making political decisions which disadvantage significant numbers of the population, of whom many are the vulnerable in society, brought to task. Factor in the fact that many recent decisions have benefited the Tory government's already privileged colleagues, who have been allowed to poke their snouts even deeper into the "money trough" at the taxpayer's expense.
I also feel that attempts to apportion blame on the current SNP government for the shambles that they presided over regarding the recent court case, is fully justified. As I've mentioned before, their decision to move "untested" patients into care homes from hospital early on in the pandemic was madness.
Good decisions should be commented upon too. For example, the furlough scheme and the format of recent vaccine roll out, seem to be good political decisions. Although how we finance the former is going to be interesting.
I'm certainly no political crusader, just someone who doesn't appear to be as selfish as yourself.

The Brexit referendum was only advisory, there was no need to accept the result so technically it was the Tories choice, somewhere out there there's a better, kinder universe where this actually did happen.
Of course that's a disingenuous answer but no less so than saying that Brexit was not largely down to a sizeable (and predominantly right wing & jingoistic) faction of the Tory party agitating for it - with plenty of support from sundry billionaire Press Barons.

In the RealWorldTM The Proclaimers should've realized the best deal realistically available from their POV was membership of the Customs Union which was rejected by only 6 votes in the round of Indicative Votes two years ago today.

Perhaps if you had said "met" instead of "laid eyes on" everyone would have known what you meant! As for your final sentence, it looks like you made it up. Isolationism is not what Scioland and the SNP is about.
