  1. Agree 100% about the pitch awful to turn on and seemed to suit the long high ball by back spinning and holding up with sharp passes skidding off the surface uncontrollably. Will be a different game on grass. Still no excuse for Goodwins distribution mind you - brutal !
  2. Surprised you can type with Elvis' cock up your arse !
  3. You must be proud knowing that you are relying on zoomers like the racist on last nights show to preserve the union. The better together campaign needs every idiot like him and they still have to motivate them enough to get out and vote ( and even then hope he can put the cross in the right box). Old ma Goldie can look as twee as she wants as she knows her opinion will matter not a jot come 18 Sept. ETA shamelessly poached from P&B the attached sums up your fellow unionists perfectly ! http://www.youtube.com/embed/pmGjiokfQ2A?html5=1&fs=1
  4. You wasted a wee bit of time cutting and pasting there as the EU did not stop Montenegro using the Euro so the precedent exists should a yes vote happen for Scotland to continue using the pound after separation whether within the EU or not. Scotland will still be part of the union even after a yes vote it's then that a sensible solution will be reached prior to eventual independence.
  5. So DL has only signed 1 or 2 decent players in 3 seasons. Very clearly you are not a Saints fan and obviously never watch our games. Sure he signs a few who dont cut it but so does every other manager. As you point out given his budget he does OK and at least he realises when he has made a mistake and generally gets them out the door sharpish. Preferable to letting them see out their contract on full wages Im sure you would agree ?
  6. You couldn't have picked a worse example if you tried. Do you honestly think any Croat wanted to use yugoslav currency or the former Yugoslav political set-up ?
  7. The seething from the little Englunders on the BBC news comments area is even worse - I don't think I have ever witnessed such blatant racism on any public forum (let alone the BBC) before. Why are the English so wound up at the mere thought of Scotland breaking away ?
  8. Of course they do as the whole outcome will depend on how many traditional labour voters will vote yes in spite of their parties stance. The tory vote in Scotland is an irrelevance in any branch of politics. You can't deride the very people on one hand then rely on them to preserve the union on the other. If you value the union that much then like it or not you are pretty much relying on Labour voters following party lines and that must stick in the craw of any Scottish tory. What a Scottish Tory thinks or votes will matter not a jot.
  9. Oh naw I knew I should have sold those sovie rings a few months back when it was $1200 an Ounce !!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Will you still deride these Labour voters as "stupid" when they vote no (assuming they toe the party line) in the referendum ? Lets face facts, without them your dreaded split up of the union will happen as there sure as hell ain't enough tories in Scotland to prevent a yes vote.
  11. Just as well for young Mr Forrest that Suzi McGuire wasn't the DJ at Elliots that night !!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Had the shivers reading the report there Al - Fras, Jim and I walked down within yards of that spot about 2 hours before. Bloody awful that in this day and age you just need to be in the wrong spot at the wrong time for tragedy to strike. Hope the scumbag that did it rotts in hell.
  13. 91 ffs I remember that game like it was yesterday. Charnley also went through 1 on 1 stroked the ball "home" and turned running to our support only to find the ball had hit the post and come back out. While he was celebrating Dung were attacking and the bold Chic was oblivious !
  14. I think Kello has been excellent since coming in. Assured and appears a calming influence to the defence with far less panic defending. The whole defensive unit were the foundation for the win yesterday all were great. Good to get a break with a penalty decision too for a change. Interesting to see Thistle fans applaud Gowser when subbed despite us feeling he hadn't played as well as he can. Probably shows what harsh critics we are of our own team. Oh and mixing lager, malt whisky, jagermeister and mango daiquiri is most certainly not a good idea !!!
  15. From the OS - Match Details The game kicks-off at 3:00pm. This match will be all-ticket*. Ticket are available from the St Mirren Ticket Office during the following hours: Fri, Nov 8th – 10:00am – 2:00pm Sat, Nov 9th – 10:00am – 12:00pm (noon) * Any unsold seats will be available by paying at the gate at Firhill Stadium on the day of the match. Cash sales only. All ticket my arse !!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. The full main stand - was a post elsewhere what it holds but I think it's over 2000 so should be plenty space for all who want to go. Have heard stories from other teams fans of large queues at their ticket office taking well into the game to clear so best to get them before the match imo.
  17. What !!! Feeding a common garden bird is controversial.
  18. Well his club had just qualified for their FIRST EVER cup final (albeit a diddy one) the night before. Definitely not a year to be winning the Scottish Cup in my eyes.
  19. Jesus BG I thought you were (like me) of "an age" but apparently not if this is the worst Watery Farts team in your living memory !
  20. Wow wow wow a fuking roller coaster of text and live (slow) streamed soccer Saturday leads to a wild whoop in a bar of Spaniards watching Real v Malaga I love the Saints from afar tonight
  21. Signing a 19yo from another nation is not developing in my book.
  22. A very very good working week. It's why we ALL love the Saints you just couldn't make it up could you.
  23. If the management team are the root cause of our current predicament then why won't results turn around if we sack them ?
