St Mirren v Motherwell, Sunday 31st July 2023
Ayrshire Saints replied to W6er's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
I see the Robinson haters are spinning this as some sort of justification. We were excellent today and there is a nucleus of a very good team there, light years ahead of the LC performances. Bacchus looks superb and the defence strolled it. Yes we lost to a dodgy pen but that's far from the headline today. I'm far more reassured in Robinson than before ko Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -

It did indeed. Maybe the guy in the pub was saying the debt was 1.5m this time last year though [emoji2957] Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -

The minutes of the SMISA meeting have been sent to members today. No mention of any debt never mind £1m under the questions on finances ! Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -

St. Mirren Vs FC Edinburgh 23rd July 2022

Do yourself a favour and put the mogadon mood Hoover on ignore. Same old schtick for years, disappears after a couple of wins to turn up like the proverbial bad penny every time we hit a rough patch. The worst type of "supporter", just a piss poor troll. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -

The home group games in the LC traditionally get rotten crowds. Usually sub 2000 (1800 I think for Arbroath). Even if we had won all 3 games this match would probably attract 1500 so sub 1500 was always likely. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -
Airdrie United (2002) v St Mirren League Cup 19/7/22
Ayrshire Saints replied to shull's topic in Matchday & Travel Club
Why does everyone think Gogic is the answer when the glaring issue in midfield is the lack of a Ronan type player. I honestly can't see what improvement Gogic would make in a midfield 3, he would be thoroughly exposed just like Erharon is. I don't think personnel is the biggest issue here (bar not replacing Ronan), it's the formation. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -
Airdrie United (2002) v St Mirren League Cup 19/7/22

This for sure. The whole shape is a nonsense and an average top league team will rip us apart. Three narrow in midfield with a flat back four and the only width being provided by playing two of the three up top wide is an abomination. No attempt to play through midfield with aimless balls wide to guys who would rather be in the box and are not wingers looking for an isolated striker in the hope he can hold it up and lay ut off to a late arriving O'hara or Kiltie seems to be it. If one of said Kiltie or O'hara do break forward it leaves us wide open with Erharon basically it in midfield. It's very basic and it will simply be destroyed by any team playing a 4 in midfield or wing backs. He has a simple choice, he needs to change formation or he will be out by September. Decent fitness exercise and a run out for all the young boys in the squad. Exactly what was required although no doubt some of the usual suspects will be looking out the pampers after what was an open training session. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk -

You admit yourself it was a democratic decision so why would you or anyone else opposed not respect the democratic will of the majority and chip in now that it's clear that this is the feeling with the bulk of the support. I suspect those opposed will be willing this to fail just so they can score petty points. Even if we are relegated this is the right decision. No way should any club rely on money from sectarian bigots to stay in the league run by that Sectarian bigot cartel. If we cant then so be it, we watch us play and enjoy days out to Thistle, Ayr and Morton rather than sitting listening to utter bile coming from both ends of our stadium or at their heaps half a dozen times a season. There's more to footballing life than the OF scum. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk

Update. Still the same on 3 different devices today but fair play to the ticket office as they phoned me to sort it all within a couple of hours of emailing them. All renewed now.

"Your chosen seats cannot be renewed as the are reserved by another customer" How can another customer have obtained our seats during the ST renewal period ?

No more 2 Stands for Celtic and Rangers
Ayrshire Saints replied to Rascal's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
It's hardly a mugs game when you are 100% convinced you know the outcome. We don't even need to be relegated given it's currently 6/1 for us to finish in the bottom two (Fakes massive 1/10 favs). FWIW I think our price is plain wrong given 2 of our 4 remaining games are away to our direct opponents and we have dreadful records at both venues. No idea why anyone as convinced as you are is not filling your boots especially since we don't even need to be relegated for you to collect. -
