Ayrshire Saints got a reaction from pondsman in St Mirren v Motherwell SPFL PREMIERSHIP 1/2/22
There was no "attack" the wee dickheads in W7 were just as keen to jump over and throw punches as the wee dickheads on the Well side. Much harder to actually confront each other with a physical barrier in between. Both sets of arseholes were equally culpable. The W7 guys have rightly earned praise for creating atmosphere but let's not play down their willingness to join in last night. They will quickly loose all favour gained if this gets repeated.

Lack of police presence was strange given I saw mounted police at last week’s fixture against Aberdeen which is a much lower profile game.  There’s been wee fannies running about outside Fir Park every time we’ve played them in the last few years.

As you said, the stewards had no chance to maintain the fenced off area but it comes back on the club and stewarding company at the end of the day. I don’t know why they don’t have one of those big sheets over that whole section of seats. If they had that it would have avoided the whole situation.
Ultimately it’ll cost the club in additional stewarding and police costs in future games.

It was an unpoliced game, a policy that needs looking at after tonight. Stewards were powerless to stop the Motherwell ned mob simply pulling down the tape and mobbing into the segregated zone. After that it just needed an incident to light the blue touch paper. Police should have been called the minute the buffer zone was breached about 5 mins BEFORE ko !

And where was the announcement of the administration that the "newbie" posted to back up existing user animal ?

It inconceivable in my eyes that folk who profess to support the club can come on to a public forum and post such unsubstantiated shite. No details, no sources just made up nonsense to drive their own petty agendas. Utterly pathetic and the reason this forum is suffering the long lingering decline seen over the years.

I hope your not a gambler, you would be living under the railway arches. Don't think I have ever come across anyone with so little faith in something they profess to at least support if not love. Man up ffs.

No Ferguson, no Scottish Cup. He was a top player for us in his relatively short Saints career.

Meatball and Dorman to get the midfield going and McAvennie to tuck them away

ETA and unpopular as it may be a pre Currants Ferguson who for us was magnificent in his short time.

Really glad we went tonight that was a proper gritty, fighting, disciplined display. Everyone put in a proper shift with the back 5 magnificent. Special mention to Jay Henderson who really should be back in the frame. Offers way more than the likes of McAllister. Heard Jim's radio interview and unfortunately it's the same squad for Ibrox plus maybe Alnwick. They will need some serious recovery after that effort but hey let's enjoy that performance tonight. A real tonic given the circumstances and a vital point.
