  1. Brilliant stuff Div! Back on track... I reposted on Twitter with a fair degree of certainty, do you know even more now?
  2. Given that buddiecat has deleted all of his original post, that probably says all that needs to be said about the initial content of thread, the post to which I responded. I have no answer to any of the questions that you posed, nor should I. I know nothing about Maxi group. I have no vested interest in the success or failure of the CiC, other than I think it would be best for the club and for the town. Having spent time researching CiCs, contacting and meeting with REA and working out whether an organisation I am connected with would find mutual benefit in partnering with 10000hrs, I have concluded that it is the best way forward at this time. Nothing more, nothing less. What I do find worrying is that, without any sources other than "someone told someone that I overheard talking about it to someone in the pub, it is definitely true" people like buddiecat come on here and post stuff as if it is fact. To back me up on this, as I have already said, he has deleted his whole original post, obviously finding out that it was all pish. The thing that is worrying about this is that I am sure there are genuine reasons that people are concerned by the CiC or by those involved. I am sure there are things that the supporters should know about and be allowed to weight up. I am sure there are negatives as well as positives. But these genuine concerns don't get heard because there is so much crap going out seemingly attempting to slander REA without factual basis or cryptically talking about there not being enough stock in the shop in a mock-country style. Those who have genuine concerns should pick a spokesperson who is able to lucidly post in a coherent manner the concerns that exist and allow these to be weighed up. SO77 already mentioned that he is part of a wee Tile Bar Mafia that have worries, why not go and research (properly) your worries and post them up here in a sensible and meaningful way? Otherwise you will continue to get shot down every time some craply worded, craply thought-out and craply researched post goes up. Genuinely, my apologies for the "rancid hovel" comment. I assumed that buddiecat was part of the notorious "Mag7ers"... It was to them I was directing that comment. I have no intention of going to the Tile to discuss anything with anyone as the best way for you or me to get info is to research and speak to REA. Hope that helps
  3. Yip totally agree! DL and the BoD and GM have done a great job so far and bring TC in may well be the best of all the summer signings! Great Job everyone at SMFC and long may it continue!!!
  4. I wondered the same thing tbh. After me being called gay, REA being called gay, Pozbaird being called gay... I wondered if it was someone else who had an issue.
  5. I think this is a tremendous post. However I'm unsure you'll get a lucid response from the intended recipient. Time I'll-spent, if you ask me Stuart.
  6. I don't know who Richard is. I used to sell programmes from aged 15 to aged 21 at Love Street. I have been a ST holder for more years than I care to remember. Good enough credentials for you?
  7. I never thought of you as funny Stuart, but I did actually LoL at this.
  8. Remind me, do they always close the wards in Dykebar at the Paisley Fair? The sooner they get these roasters back inside the better.
  9. Of course, this all makes sense. As the hope that Yul/Animal and the others had of discrediting the CiC concept by criticising the business plan and process runs out, they switch to a REA-specific campaign of slander. Trying, on the way, to second guess the decisions of players like SMiSA and other partners/members, which has also proven to be an unsuccessful strategy as it their guesses have all been incorrect. Once again though, having been unable to find any actual dirt on REA they instead make things up - just like the SMiSA/Kibble stories that had been touted and turned out to be false. The "Mag7ers" B&W Army's equivalent to the News Of The World, except worse. Post after post based on hearsay, third-hand alleged information, poor research, fantasy, speculation and unfounded nonsense. Well done you guys for your well worked campaign, it has been so successful. You must be so proud. I often wonder why political parties don't fight more of their campaigns on what they will do, how they are good and why you should vote for them. Instead they focus on why the others are shite, liars, incompetent and lead debaucherous lives. Kind of left wondering why these guys don't come straight out and say why the CiC is bad, offer a better solution and let us get on with the job of deciding. Crawl back into your rancid little hovel and hatch another ill-constructed plan to bring the club and town to its knees, it'll be fun to watch you fail again.
  10. I did wonder at that too David... Maybe the needed a bit of tottie who could talk in public too...? I vote for Carol Vorderman for next year!!!

Whit? For 9 months? Better buy a kite, could be windy. ;)

  12. A better line would've been, "don't pretend you do know who it is then get caught out that you really don't when your 'hinting' leads to people to the right or wrong conclusions..."
  13. Haha! Actually mate, I have no idea... I am guessing as much as you are. I just figured the big emphasis on "riding in from the east" etc in his posts maybe hinted that he worked there. The real issue for now is why would Yul not just come straight out face-to-face with RA/10000hrs, or, if he does have the clout that you suspect, the papers/radio/tv and make his points clearly and properly? An internet forum is not real life. I am not really called ktf and I don't really act or talk, in real life, the way I do on here. If I want to say daft stuff, provocative stuff or just noise someone up, I'll come on here. I rarely do any of that in real life. Why? Because this is the internet! It isn't real and you can get away with things that aren't real. When you try to use a stupid (sorry Div) internet forum to affect things in real life, you are onto a loser. Mainly because most people don't take it seriously (because it is the internet!!!) and partly because there are 1001 other people, just like you, who will be ready to jump on you and pull everything you have to say apart. If Yul is serious about what he has to say and about the negatives of the CiC, then he needs to come right out, make himself known and publicly state his case. Until then, he'll be treated like he ought to be, a stupid internet alias.
  14. He most certainly could. Without her the "Mag 6" doesn't look or sound quite as sexy... The worry about Michelle is that people listen to and read what she has to say, and she is as thick as pig shit. No substance to her 'stories', no referencing, no clear points or statements made and you're left thinking, "what was she trying to say?" In many ways, a bit like Yul... Maybe the have been spending too much time together!
  15. A fair few people do and I'm amazed that none of them have resisted the urge to let it all known. Heck, I'm amazed I have! Once again though, his posts are almost impossible to decipher (probably to shield the blame if/when his predictions don't come to fruition), have no references and he continues to hide behind an increasingly tiresome and nonsensical alias. Just come out, say who you are and lay all your concerns down for them to be weighed up. That we we can see who has the genuine interests of the club and the community of Paisley at heart. I suspect he hasn't done that as he doesn't to make a song and dance about something that will be exposed as an attempt to derail it when it could turn out to have the best interests of the club and town at its heart. Also, it's easier to spout unfounded pish as an anonymous alias than as a credible (once-credible) person in the community.
  16. Ms Evans made it very clear at the first public meeting that she didn't understand the CiC model nor did she want to. Her agenda, like some others is not of questioning to ascertain answers but to cast aspertions and doubts. She knows very little about football and even less about business, it would seem. It also appears that neither she nor her band of coonsilor/emmesspee-types want the best for the community of Paisley or the football club. I am convinced that the CiC will deliver on both fronts and am happy to say so and state why. I have not heard any of her bunch state why they don't want it to go ahead or the alternatives that would be on offer... When they publicly come out and do that, I'll weigh it up. Until then, the like of Michelle and the others (many of us know who they are) will not be listened to and seriously risk jeopardising their reputations!
  17. I think he means, 'how many people are in SMiSA?'... At the last meeting I snuck into, I think they said it was something like 86...
  18. If he doesn't out himself soon, I might just... Growing tired of it all. Especially when some of those with genuine concerns are beginning to raise them constructively and ask the valid, probing questions that can be answered. The stupid aliases and idiotic posts are becoming more and more inane. Come on Yul/Animal, come clean and make yourself known before someone does it for you!
  19. If Sid isn't a member of SMiSA, and presumably he isn't, and none of the "CiC fans" are either, then why would they know what the conditions are? The conditions are set by SMiSA, not by 10000hrs. Therefore they are not handing over the money not knowing what the conditions are, as they set the conditions... I'd have thought that was fairly obvious, even to someone as blind as you. Also, why would SMiSA expect their money back if the thing collapses? They aren't making a loan, they are investing, there is always a risk with investment. Should they spend their cash on shares in SMFC, they get nothing but a bit of paper to show for it. No return. No seat on the board. No influence. Nothing. ANd they'd have lost their money. By investing in the CiC, they will again get no financial return, however, they will get whatever the conditions set are, they will get votes on the running of the CiC, they will presumably get a seat on the elected board, they will genuinely be able to say that they have a role in the running and ownership of the club. Both ways, if it all goes tits up, they get nothing back financially. But by investing in the CiC, they get a whole load of other stuff. If the money does or doesn't go to SG, what is the difference? That is price that has been set, that is the amount that needs to be paid and wherever they get shares from will either line someone's pocket or render the ownership of the shares useless and the shares worthless. What are the options? Invest pointlessly in a way that lines someone's pockets/in a way that makes the investment useless or invest in a way that gives them a say in the running of the football club and a big part of the pie in the ownership of the CiC? It's a no-brainer really...
  20. Well done one and all in SMiSA for laying out the facts impartially and coming to a democratic decision on how and where to spend the money you have raised. I think the backing of SMiSA is a huge positive for 10000hrs and might hopefully encourage some of the undecided to take the pro-CiC plunge. As for Animal/Yul (now, hilariously exposed as the same person) you guaranteed that SMiSA would vote against as your "source" told you so. What else isn't going to come to pass...?
