  1. Tanser is very hit and miss to me. Brophy just doesn't fit for me. Kiltie is a weird one. When on and we attack a bit more I think he's good, but then when checking the goals and assists table on the BBC he has contributed less than I thought he would when on... Guess that's mostly from being a sub too though. I just expected more from him. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  2. 2023/2024 GK Carson 2024 Urminsky 2024 DEF Fraser 2025 Strain 2024 Tanser 2024 Gallagher 2024 R. Taylor 2025 MID Baccus 2024 Flynn 2024 O’Hara 2026 Gogic 2024 Kiltie 2025 F. Taylor ??? FWD Ayunga 2024 Grieve 2024 Brophy 2024 Offord ??? Jamieson 2024 Out of Contract Shaughnessy (offered 1yr) Boyd-Munce (team option) Small (loan end) Tait Dunne Main Needs Ideally we would look at options for wingbacks as with no talk on Tait we need something different when Strain is done and Flynn/Fraser isn't the answer there. We also need someone in place of Small. We should see how we get rid of Brophy too as not fitting what Robo needs or wants. Maybe need 2 strikers if can punt him and Main goes. Maybe need a central defender to replace Shaughnessy if he goes. Links Sule - Erhahon replacement? Bedeau - Dunne replacement? Bowie - Main replacement? Montgomery - Small replacement? 3. That's good if they are in early. On the Facebook group someone suggested that Adam Montgomery is going to us on a transfer. 5'8" LWB/LB. So Sule would fill the role maybe left by Erhahon? Bowie fill the role from Watt? Montgomery fill the role from Small? The potential signing of Bedeau fill the role left by Dunne? What else do we need? Cover at RWB for Strain as there is no extension chat about Tait and for me I don't like Flynn there. Maybe cover if Shaughnessy doesn't stay and if Main doesn't sign on another striker? I have to say I hope Main stays. His best football has been with Robo. Any time he has been with anyone else it's been poor. I hope he stays as he has had 9 goals I think all from open play. Not bad for our budget. We are not a club that can sign an out and out 20 goals a season player, we need to take a punt. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  4. Finance is available from 28th Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  5. Robo had said recently he had offers out to 2 defenders and 2 strikers. Does this matter if Dunne or Main sign on again?! Does this include the 2 rumours in Jacob Bedeau (left sided centre back) and Kieran Bowie (Scottish striker from Fulham)? If it doesn't include them you would hope with Small being loaned to end of year and no chat on Tait whose contact is due to end this year that the 2 defenders can play wing backs and potential centre back cover. 6. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/in-your-area/renfrewshire/st-mirren-pair-mark-ohara-29980625 Robo beaten by Ange Postecoglou and O'Hara beaten by Jota. I think the awards are a farce. Robo beaten by a manager and team that are favourites due to their budget and resources every year for winning the treble. Robo has done amazing with the limited resources he had at the club and all the shit financially and going on off the pitch. Until there is a way to even up the playing field, with them always being favourites the awards are a joke if not looked at differently. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  7. I would like to add I would be ashamed of the playing to the ref and moaning if I was a hearts fan. Hearts, like killie, are a lot of floppers and the refs buy it. Not because there is a conspiracy or anything, but because a lot of them are incompetent. If they really think they are the 3rd force in Scotland with bigger support, bigger budget and you would think that would get you better quality players, they have played poor this season against us with nothing special. Imagine if we had the money they had what Robo could do. I think Taylor is raw, but there is a player in there. Strong, quick, and comfortable on the ball. Seemed to pass it well and not just go for hoofing diagonal balls to no one. Some nice balls up the line. I think with the right coaching his decision making will get better. If there are more cheaper finds like that to fill the squad more then Robo is on to something with us progressing Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  8. I was so deflated yesterday after that. Defensive errors. We have done so well this season with the limited budget we have. We should all be proud of what we have achieved. Hearts fans were celebrating like it was a cup win. They got a draw. They have a huge fan base. They have a huge budget compared to a lot of Scotland and they were like that for a f**king draw with a team that has limited resources and fights relegation more often than not. If I was a hearts fan I would be ashamed of there performance. Imagine if we had Robo and their budget?! Lucky Dunne is away (maybe to be closer to home as I can't see there being many in for him because he is good. He is hit or miss). I would hope with Small loan ending we need something else on the left as Tanser is hit and miss too. If we could find a left sided strain I would love it. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  9. I should also add that Marcus Fraser is in before him too as more mobile and Gallagher is in, though not as mobile, he is a better defender. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  10. Because with the back 3 there seems to be more of a need for natural left footed player... This is Dunne over Joe. I bet If we sign a replacement for Dunne we will be looking at left footed players. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  11. Seems with their issues Morecambe have a fair few players leaving the end of this season. Do you think there is anyone there from Robo's past he would see fit into the style he wants? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65528503 Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  12. BBC gossip saying "St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson is ready to sign a new contract but Charles Dunne and Curtis Main are expected to leave the club this summer. (Sun)" Good Robo signing a new contract. Shame if both Dunne and Main go, but from other articles I'm sure I read they already have a list of replacements. I hope these replacements are of the standard or Strain, O'Hara and Baccus and not of Olusanya in his few outings. Players that can hit the ground running. I say this too as at times he could have some decent players for Motherwell like Mugabi, and then some stinkers too. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  13. Cracking performance today. Made it even more amazing for my son who was one of the mascots today. He was a bit under the weather but powered on through. So glad her did. Will live with him forever. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  14. Nice. With the combination of my son being the mascot he might get his prediction of 12-0 to us then [emoji1787] Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  15. Hopefully it's a win at this game. My son is due to be the mascot for the game as part of his birthday the Monday before it. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  16. Any goal scoring number 9 will be going to teams that can pay him more than we can. We are a team that need to take a punt on someone coming good. Also before people talk about Brophy we also have the addition they they need to have f**k all ego and fit our system and manage... Hard to find in a goal scoring number 9. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
  17. It has been great and a great reward that a lot of fans who can't travel and spend their hard earned money on home tickets (season ticket or on the door) are getting to watch the team work their socks off. I know some would complain about needing a 20 goals a year striker (never going to happen with the money we have it's always going to be a punt and it's stupid to think otherwise), but I love the identity that Robo has put in place as I love the players energy, the pressing from the off and high up the pitch. Its all about a team effort and all defending for each other that I like to see.... It's where the style of Brophy doesn't really fit the style... And I'm ok with that. It's put him out, but I would prefer players like the rest we have. That's just my opinion though. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
  18. I know there is a lot about finances and the way the club is run. I find the threads on it boring with the sniping of people at each other. I'm not an accountant and don't know if it's sustainable and I'm not in the know, but by god I prefer the team and us aiming higher with budgeting for 7th than 10th. Those years were tough to take and throw money at season tickets for the crap that was on show. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
  19. I didn't realise this was up. I guess there could be a move away then that would prevent any chat. [emoji1787] Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
  20. Has there been any chat at all about designs for the home or away strip for next season? I know it was early on last season people had the option to select the home that they liked the most. My son was asking me, so I thought to put it up here. Also with the away sales this season surely something the same but red or white or yellow variant would also sell well? Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks I'll update that. Not a bad place to be with the squad structure. Just maybe a few areas to try to strengthen. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk

  23. Thing is someone known for that is signing for clubs with more money than us. Sadly we need to find someone who can play our system and hit form. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
  24. I think we wait and see. He has been signed as cover. I also think we need to put faith (imagine that) into Robo and Martin Foyle as they took on Nevis Mugabi from Yeovil Town to Motherwell. The two of them can spot a player better than anyone here can. Yeah there were some misses at Motherwell too, but that's the same all over. They brought in the likes of O'Hara, Gallagher and Baccus who have changed our team. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk
