We need to recruit well and get people on the wavelength that SR is on and how he wants them to play. We can't have the slump we had when he first join. Not wetting my knickers, but worry for these clubs with bigger budgets and more money thrown at them. The bottom 6 this season had Dons and Hibs who have more cash. Top 6 just had the likes of county who are bank rolled. Going to be a tough season with stronger clubs than Dundee were, so need to roll the sleeves up and dig in right from the start. If comes to picking a side who finished top 6 with european football or us (who next season could struggle potentially with Dundee down and Killie up who have more cash) in a stronger Premiership, who would you choose? Totally would love Gogic to sign. Thing could he still go back to Cyprus? Would he go down south? I know he said he would stay in Scotland and has said his time with us has made him enjoy football again. This will be because he is appreciated and getting game time. At Hibs he was getting paid better, but getting little to no playing time. Saying he would be happy to stay in Scotland, what clubs would target him? Celtic & Rangers = Bigger budget / looking for better quality. Hearts & Hibs = Could pay more but would be a squad player and not a first select (like his time at Hibs). Aberdeen = They have both McCrorie & Ferguson that will be ahead of him, so squad player at best? Dundee Utd & Motherwell = Could pay more if in the market for a player of his style. Killie = just coming back up but also signed Power. Is power a bit part for them? I ask as their time here and playing together on the pitch I felt Gogic was worse when playing along side Power. Ross county = maybe pay more and higher in the table. St Johnstone & Dundee = Surly wouldn't want to join them as worse than us. It has been rumoured we are in for Matt Butcher who is out of contract this summer from Accrington. He plays as a defensive midfielder. Could be we are in for both Gogic and him or he is in case Gogic takes too long to decide?! Tait is a decent enough back up that knows what the manager wants and style. Power sounds like he is off anyway and was only contracted to this summer anyway. Flynn I feel is gone as contract is up and his legs look gone for the tempo Robo wants. If Main can go into next season they way he ended this I will be happy. He is now doing the job I thought he was brought in to do. Seen an article before with main saying he is getting to play the way he wants. Makes you wonder what the f**k Jim brought him in for and asking him to do that made him play shit. Erhahon last few games wasn't as bad as he has been. Would be good to get more out of him, but I fear that his style of play and needing more time on the ball is better suited for down south than up north. Fraser I think is solid enough for this level. Last few games been great getting forward and getting some decent balls in. At times he has slipped up, but in the back 3 I have thought he has been really good. I know. A lot of shite that.
