  1. bloody feels like mission impossible Shull, all I want is to see the game, I'm no asking much, I'm currently living in a friends house in Perth and over here they have Setanta, game is on there but this guy doesn't subscribe, only sports channel he doesn't have, think he would run you close in the penny pinching department
  2. my wife use to be her teacher in Barrhead, great little girl from what she tells me,
  3. this is a bloody happy thread, Christ there seems to be no point in saints turning up. whatever the score is all we can ask is that the 11 who start give it a shot and fight for everything
  4. cheers for the info, but just to confirm that I've done this right after the shambles of last week ( I assume you've done this as a result of my f**k up last week) 1- opened internet through chrome 2- downloaded adblock plus 3- went into wiziwig and downloaded that acestream now I assume that when I go back into wiziwig tonight I can just click the link to our game and I should be able to watch it with out any problem. last week the picture was there but all sorts of ad,s were everywhere over the screen then I also got a new search engine thing instead of google.
  5. Even going into the internet through Chrome, straight away I'm getting something called istartsurf as my search and that seems to be causing all the problems, I've no idea where it came from or how to get rid of it
  6. I'm having a bloody nightmare, any computer wizards out there a need help
  7. Tried wiziwig, I've not got a computer that doesn't have google set when I open the internet and there are all sorts of pop ups etc, the game is also on with 2 big adverts in the middle of the screen, this is a f**king nightmare, no even my laptop and I've f**ked it right up, how the hell do I fix this, mrs is going to kill me
  8. Aye that is a plus, so far the weather has been a good bit better than in Victoria, see the game is on a delayed transmission on Setanta at 4am, need to just find an on line feed
  9. Yeah mate, moved here this week, spent 9 months in Ballarat just outside Melbourne but couldn't settle so went home for a year now I'm back to crazy o clock football
  10. Yeah I know FTOF, just making the point we seem to have pissed money away (might not be much) but it's money that could have been spent on someone tried and tested like him
  11. Where in Oz are you? Kick off for me is 2.45am. Watching saints at that time ruins your whole day and not just part of it like back home
  12. If Thommo is out for 3 months then a striker is a must, what we have up front WILL NOT be enough to keep us up, it's been said for 2 years or so we needed back up to Thommo, this year we brought in 3 strikers with very few goals between them at any sort of level. I would say not taking Ball and Caldwell would have left us about enough to cover wages of someone like Clarkson or McFadden. Right now we are staring into the abyss
  13. Moving away now so that was my last game for a while and I'm delighted I won't witness anymore while TC is manager. At 1 all we could have changed the team and went for a winner as Marwood with Kenny behind just wasn't working, instead we need to lose another horror goal before the chage happens. It's always a reactive change rather the a change made on our terms. Hate to say it though, even with Thommo back I can't see this side avoiding the drop, the other relegation candidates all have far to big a gap already and it will only get worse with TC in charge. God knows what instructions the players get before the games from him but they seem all over the place at times
  14. Favourite game that season was the 2-1 win away at Livi when McGarry scored a peach to win it, at that point I felt it would be our year, away end was bursting at the seams.
  15. Last game before I head back to Australia so hoping for a win as a goodbye present, strangely we played Killie the day before I went to Oz last time. That finished 1 all and I'd prob take that considering how we are playing
  16. The quote from the bbc website about players not being happy with Tommy may well be correct. If you're working for someone you don't like I doubt you put as much effort in as you would if you were working with someone you respect and get along with. The players so far this term have given very little for TC, the minute he stayed when Danny left I worried about how it would be recieved.
  17. Looking at the highlights again it's blatantly obvious we need a bloody defensive coach, I've never seen a defender head the ball into the centre when trying to clear it more than cheesy does. The first f**king rule is head to a side, don't put it into the middle where a striker is more often than not standing waiting to smash the ball home, just like the young lad done on Saturday. Between him and Plummer they need to sort out who's attacking the high balls and who's covering should they fail to win it. It's so basic and we can't get it right. If Plummer gives Cheesy 3 or 4 years to go attack a ball and cheesy loses it in the air then Plummer mops it up, but not our calamitous CB pairing, they stand square on constantly which leads to 1 pass taking them both out the game. Fed up paying money to watch guys make the same mistakes I see on a Saturday morning watching my nephew playing u13's football
  18. Another issue I have at the moment is we are really struggling in front of goal and TC says business is done, if we haven't went for guys like Brian Graham on loan then why not, he's miles better than what we have and would add a threat for us. At the moment I wouldn't bet on Ball, Marwood or Caldwell scoring regularly at the Pitz
  19. I respect TC for saying he won't change how his team plays, he's sticking by his principles but he needs to go, I'd watch shite football every week if it meant getting results. Maybe some of us think this squad is better than it actually is and bottom 2 is nailed on for us unless TC goes, it just isn't good enough, no where near it. 3 home games, 0 goals and 0 points, bordering on pathetic
  20. Defensively I though Osbourne done fine, but he certainly never passed to the midfield enough, 90% of his passes went back to Cheesy which just completely shows the game down
  21. Winning doesn't cover the problems, first half we were a shambles, what's happened to Kenny and McGinn, they look lost so far this season, one keeps trying World Cup passes and the other is trying to take on far too much. When these 2 don't play we are below average so whatever TC and the coaching team are doing with them they need to sort it. I've tried staying optimistic about the squad as it is better than last seasons but for some reason we look every bit as bad as we did at this point last year. When Thommo was up front alone there was no direct link between the midfield and him, that link was Gowser last season and we look far better going forward with someone in that hole. Kenny could play there and it might be better for the team if he was moved a bit further up. Hopefully something clicks in the team after last night as we should be good enough to complete and pick up points from United on Saturday if we get tactics right.
  22. After Goodys performance on Saturday I wouldn't move him to CB but I would take Cheesy out and move Naismith over and stick Osbourne at RB as he has played there before. Would also like Thoomo to get the first 60 minutes or so then give Caldwell a run, if anything it shows that there is a bit of depth to the squad just now so we should use it like you suggest
  23. 6 out of 10, bit more composure and he would have been a hero straight away
  24. Wouldn't say we were superb today, if we won the game having played how we did then maybe we could have described the performance as superb. There were certainly a lot of decent performances, Goodwin was MOM by a mile and showed how important he is for Kenny and McGinn to press further up the park. Big Callum Ball missed a complete sitter, he won't get a better chance to score, I was sitting right on the by line in the west stand and Naismith put it on a plate, he never had to stretch and even got contact, just had to side foot it into the net, after that there was only going to be a Dundee goal, it was one of those days (again). Balls were breaking everywhere in the Dundee box except to one of our players to stick in in the net, when we do get our first goal this season it will be scrappy but more than welcomed. There are positives and I feel if we get a win under our belts things will improve quickly. Wasn't going to go on Tuesday night after having to pay £25 for me and the boy today, but thanks to a friend and a generous stranger outside the ground we found ourselves getting 2 season tickets, so money saved today will be put into the club on Tuesday now, and I think we could give the Pars a doing if we get an early goal. Goals give confidence and that's all we need just now. What happened at the goal by the way, looked like a hopeful high ball and we had no CB near it
  25. This is a bonus game for the club as it's a home tie so can't understand why it's £15 for an adult, maximum should have been £10 and £5 for oap and students, I don't have a season ticket but I will be paying £25 on Saturday for me and the boy so can't afford another £20 on Tuesday for this, the club are pricing fans out of supporting the team
