  1. My wife is an ardent supporter of both football and women's rights but even she said she cannot watch this less than amateurish version of the beautiful game. She was the one who likened it to under 13's football. I don't understand how folk can fall for the media hype they've decided to pile on it.
  2. Feck this new world order! My wife has always paid for any work I do for her in the house with "sexual favours". In keeping with modern technology she's decided to go contactless.
  3. Not sure I'd believe what's written there since Today, (Monday), is the 7th August
  4. 2013s are only 10 years old so not pro youth..... Yet
  5. If they're putting women's football tables/league on the main site I think they should also put the 2013s team news/fixtures on as they're basically at the same level.
  6. Aye. Commentary on the beeb. sic. Kiltie has faded badly, second half....... Great run and cross. Goal! Great result. Added to this my grandkid's team the Edinburgh Cup. Capital!
  7. Typical BBC. St. Mirren who? "Hibs made a lively start, but the sunshine enveloping Easter Road was soon enveloped in clouds of home despair as St Mirren striker Eammon Brophy went down under a Joe Newell challenge". They later corrected this.
  8. I honestly thought we'd contrived to blow yet another two goal lead. Well we did, but the team rallied to win the game. Well done lads.
  9. I couldn't go today due to being on standby but, if we get the result, I'm just as happy even not being "in that crowd".
  10. Both Bolton and Dunne were reported injured leaving us very short of central defenders. We've used Taylor and Gogic to fill in though.
  11. Give our current dilemma the lad may even get a start today.
  12. Ticket office sent me an email saying they "hope" to get them out before the Dundee game but, if not I could download the app or get game tickets at the office on the day.
  13. The paint I watched dry was white.
  14. If you mean playing lower league teams in a competition that was initially conceived to give those teams a crack at silverware then DEFINITELY. For B teams read reserves. They play each other and the clubs have the right to play fringe players AND the young lads. That's a good enough way to progress without punishing the lesser teams.
  15. I think Motherwell will be happy with the draw. Well, apart from not being at home.
  16. I'm astounded he's still with us now. Must have ethe shittiest agent out there. Thank feck!
  17. The second half was a damp squib. I put that down to losing the midfield. It kind of proves we are almost totally reliant on O'Hara to control it. For the "real" games we need that midfield general. IF we need to be without Captain Marvel we need to have another option. Unless we have an academy graduate hidden gem then Gogic is the most likely filler. ETA. Talking about graduates. A wee mention for Luke Kenny who came on as a sub for the last 30 of the game. Didn't look out of place. Seems to have a nice touch and wasn't overawed. Well done youngin.
  18. One with his foot too. Still not convinced but have to admit he was far better today.
  19. I had to check as I thought they had put out a second string team but, NO. Already looking like a tough old season for the Saintees.
  20. Given the debacle in Andorra we have to be looking at this positively. 0-2 to the Saints.
  21. First couple of touches didn't fill me with confidence but he calmed down as the game progressed.
  22. A routine win as it turnned out. I felt the manager should have given Mandron 10 mins or so to try getting his hat trick. Strain is just too good. I thought we lost the midfield for much of the second half after O'Hara left the field. We have done the bare minimum of qualifying out of a group we should have so we move on.
  23. And in other news. The Titanic has sunk.
