Couple of nice mitre match balls on the sports direct website but do we want to give that hefter the money lol
Why not? If he gives the cash to newco it'll only be a loan to help pay back his loan.

I meant ask why she was selected rather than how.
It's going to be difficult for her to win over those sitting on the fence or looking for an experienced local candidate to represent the town rather than voting along party lines.
Because she got more votes than those who weren't selected? I think they call it democracy but I could be wrong.

Hamilton's Stephen Hendrie signs deal to join West Ham in summer
STV30 January 2015 16:25 GMT
Hamilton left-back Stephen Hendrie has agreed a deal to join Premier League side West Ham at the end of the season.
A £1 million compensation package has been agreed between the two clubs which will prevent Hendrie from moving elsewhere, with Reading and Bournemouth previously linked with the player.
Hendrie will remain at New Douglas Park for the remainder of the season, with the defender making the move to the Premier League for the start of the 2015/15 campaign.
The left-back, who is out of contract with Accies at the end of the season, had been subject to a £2 million bid from West Ham last week according to club vice-chairman Ronnie MacDonald.
However, Accies called off the deal - with MacDonald labelling the London club "shambolic."
West Ham rekindled their interest in Hendrie however, with a deal now agreed that will send the left-back to London in the summer.
I'm not sure where the figure and assurance comes from. As far as I'm aware, the very fact he signed a pre contract agreement prevents the vultures coming a calling, let alone the likes of Bournemouth and Reading competing with a high flying W.H. for his signature. Is this a number picked out of the air by lazy journalists?
As for the highlighted segment. It was reported that West Ham didn't follow up any original interest probably BECAUSE they would be able to get the lad in pre contract.

Ridgers
Naismith Cheesy Goodwin Tess
Mallan McGinn
Sonupe Sadlier Dayton
Thommo
2-1 Saints (Thommo 34, Sadlier 64, David Villa 88)
COYS
I think it's too light in midfield. We need to make room for Osbourne if fit.

I haven't seen this reported anywhere, only that west ham have signed him on a PCA. Why would west ham pay 1m for a player they could get for simuilar to what we got for McLean?
But that wouldn't show up our board in such a bad light steve.

In today's PDE, Teale states, "I'm hopeful that, before the Inverness match,we might have another new face in the squad".
He then goes on to say, " I will have a couple of boys in to have a look at them at the start of next week and if I feel that they are better than what we already have in, then I'd hope to bring them in.
Make your mind up Gary.
Or are they identical twins?
What's contradictory in this?
Could it not just mean he has one he's earmarked for bringing in and possibly a couple he's still to look at which, if good enough, he'd hope to add. Maybe as many as three then.

we bring in Dayton.
Arquin can play off the striker, or slot into a winger role too on a 3 prong attack.
As for the defence, yes we need cover there, but now with the midfield topped up, kelly coyld easily slot in at left back if need be with Tess moved in as centre half. I personally wouldnt shift goodwin or Cheesey. Goodwin has been having some of his best form at the moment and this will do well for Cheesey.
I wouldn't change either for any present player but I would certainly like to get a good CH in.

I couldn't help but chuckle... the day after King is boasting in the press that he will win a vote at the EGM and oust the board they announce he can have his EGM but it will be held in London and presumably a lot of the smaller shareholders who would back King won't be able to attend.
I would think they'll have a postal and proxy setup to allow all shareholders the opportunity.
£200000 to host an EGM?
Deliberate to use up even more of the loan?

I could have swore he was asked to play up front, which involves winning what comes near you, holding the ball up and hitting the target. He did setup McLean for the penalty incident at Dundee though so I'm not totally against him. He's no pace, so he needs to be stronger when challenging for headers.
He was constantly finding himself having to chase wide to get the ball because we played narrow. Some of the crosses he put in were ideal for,.... well,... him.

Fat Sam has little time for developing youngsters but he's one of many down there
Feel sorry for any youngster who is at a Premiership club they have little to no chance getting a game
Talking to Boro fans they are in two minds whether it would be a good thing going up
Their match tickets will double and some cases especially playing in Landan it will be treble
And yet the same man has taken a very young Accies player down south. Unless he thought he was paying cash for a game of snooker with a legend of the game.

I really think we're giving too little blame for the role Ball was asked to play. Try playing him in his natural position with wide players that can put the ball in the box and then judge him. Teale seems to be getting the whole squad fitter so treat Ball as a new player. A clean slate.

Filthy beasts!
Yuk! Oh? I thought you said filthy br...

If we stay up I would get rid. If we go down then I think he would easily hit double figures in the first, so would be inclined to keep him.
Sell that one to him.
"Right Callum. We need you to help us remain in this division so we can fire you."
"O.K. Boss. I'm up for that. Now where do I sign to buy that London bridge?"
-
I think it would have been better for us if AJ had remained in charge as, IMO, Locke will get more out of what's left.

I've honestly done the same. Only thing is,I'm still no quite clear.
I see another visit on the cards Rick.

They got £1 million. Sold to West Ham then loaned back til the end of the season, which also happens to be the end of his contract. Quite incredible deal.
If this is true it says more about WH's stupidity than Accies nuance. The exact same result as signing the lad for a development fee?
Somebody down Lahndan way has been at the medicine cabinet methinks!

I am sorry we did not get a lot more for Kenny. I wish we had. And I can understand why other clubs make more money as Drew is right in that they have great PR. SMFC do not know what PR stands for. However Andreu and Hendrie have been consistent even if it has only been for 5 months so anyone watching the player can see what they are getting. With Kenny there had always been an element of the unknown. If he had shown recent form 2 years ago I am sure we would have got a lot more for him then. Kenny always frustrated me as I could see he had talent but I hated his world-cup passes and shots from 40 yards straight out the ground. And I also thought that Danny and TC should have played him further forward but for the last two years McGowan played that role to a lesser effect than Kenny would have in my opinion. I loved watching him under Tealey.
But it is water under the bridge now. McLean has gone and I wish him the best.
I think they think it's the first two letters of Collum's name.
And who's to say they're wrong?

Watch The Bubble Didnae Burs, making runs out wide to collect the ball and such like.t, that player just isn't in Ball. There's no presence, very poor in the air, doesn't hold the ball up and is rarely in the mixer.
Ball isn't in the same team though. I'm not saying he WILL succeed. I'm saying, Don't throw the baby out with the cold bathwater. He's with us. He isn't going anywhere so, give him a chance with any new formation which doesn't depend on him being the lynchpin up front.
I will admit defeat if this doesn't improve him and I'm sure the doubters will come on here apologising if he does the biz.

Welcome aboard WHS. I hope young Kieran progresses as you expect and we end up with a jewel.

Harrumph.
Highly debatable: it's mostly considered ignorant, obscure, dialect and ancient practice.
But, as all four suit you. Wire in.
Mostly being? You I guess. While I don't pretend to be a saint it is surely presumptious of you to suppose something is obscure and that I am ignorant simply because I don't agree with your narrow take on the English language. After all. Surely, by definition, every form of English is either ancient or dialect?

Even that doesn't make sense. As he would be free to make his own decision it would be him who'd get the extra cash.
