ETA: I listened to Ronnie McDonald giving it all the chat about the lad Hendrie as I sat in traffic while heading over for the United game a couple of weeks back. Now there's an operator. You'd have thought he was sitting on the key to immortality the way he was talking up the player. All this shite about him not caring if he ever heard from West Ham again was simply another way of suggesting that they had plenty of other options on the table (they probably didn't!), and that they knew they would get their payday for the lad from one club or another. It was laughable stuff, but pretty damn slick for all that.
How much did Accies get for Hendrie? The lad signed a pre contract so all they were due was a developement fee. Are you saying they got the 2 mill they thought they had banked?

I can't speak for pod but I would certainly give both Arquinn and Ball a fair crack of the whip with any new formation which allows both to be where a big No. 9 should be.

Accies may be riding high in the league just now, but there's a lot of uncertainty with central defender donkey Canning coming in as manager. They've got a two stand stadium, with a core support of about 1,200.
We, on the other hand, are on the up under our ex winger manager. He can teach the boy a lot about the art of wing play, with tales of playing in the Premiership and for Scotland. We've got a modern, four stand stadium, with our own training base and a loyal and er....positive fan base of around 3,500-4,000. We've won trophies in living memory and have played in Europe.
All things considered, there's only one choice for the lad!!

No chance of relegation. Open air facilities at the ground with a good breeze during thw armer months. Less folk to abuse you of things go wrong. AND... A hefty % of the sell on fee to the English premier leaguwe if you manage to stay on your feet for most of the season.
