  1. Every team has a bad spell during the season, hopefully ours is now passing. Look at Ross County last season as an example, Have faith. A couple of decent performances and pick up some points and things will change.
  2. Got the Killie v Celtic game on then it's the gym, then beach and a bit of Wakeboarding for me. Lovely morning here in Trinidad.
  3. I always get that "we can do it" feeling before every game. I'll settle for a 1-0 win and I don't care if it takes a deflection of the Refs Scrotum if it gets us 3 points.
  4. Look at the state of Egypt, Libya after the Arab spring not to mention Iraq. The west was behind the ousting of what was deemed Dictatorship regimes, however Mubarak, Gaddafi and Hussein kept the lid on their respective countries as did Tito with the former Yugoslavia. Syria has a large Christian and Jewish population, if Assad goes then the ethnic cleansing begins I believe. Let the Syrians deal with it and we (The UK and co) keep out.
  5. Correct. DVZ has given 100% as far as I'm concerned and I think the comments regarding him are way off the mark. I wonder how many folk on here that are slating him have actually played football.
  6. Great idea. I've bought my season ticket again this year even though I only see three or four games a year. There's two of us Saints fans in Trinidad who would bite the hand off you to watch the games live. I'm sure there must be a good few more.
  7. He scores at will, and been known to dribble a lot and has very good ball control by all accounts.
  8. Any chance you could PM me with your info chap?
  9. West Indies v Sri Lanka was a washout, however what an atmosphere. The Trinni Posse stand was bouncin music playing and as much booze as you could drink. It would be great to see that kind of thing at football but can't ever see that happening. The attached link is from last year.
  10. I'll let you know how how it goes chap. ⚾⚾⚾
  11. I'm going to the West Indies v Sri Lanka game tomorrow in Port of Spain. Don't think I'll see much cricket but going for the party. £65 for all food and drink in the "Trinnie Posse" stand.
  12. I remember that game. Friday night if I'm not mistaken and if my memory serves me well the score was 1-1.
  13. Woke up at 6.30 am in my apartment in Port of Spain and had a Carib (Trinidadian beer) Did a bit of work then had another Carib. 9am tried to find a link to watch the game without much success. Fellow Buddie (John Rae) turned up at 9.30 and still no link. With less than 30 minutes to kick off there was a bit of panic setting in. I eventually signed up to 365.com (What a rip off that was) and proceeded to watch the game on a screen the size of a box of Swan Vesta. 1-0 down and looking like we were going to get turned over. Vacated the hoose at halftime to find a bar that we could hopefully watch the game. Went to "All Out" at the Oval Cricket ground and they were only showing EPL games. Left there and walked to Trotters bar by which time we were 3-1 up. Caught the remainder of the game in there and celebrated long into the night. Head like a Zeppelin and throat like a Junkies carpet this morning............................well worth it though.
  14. Shame that, He was a good player in his day with Chelsea and then with Southampton.
  15. So, you go out "Dogging" at night? ................... Only Joking
  16. Do the two captains still take pledge of fair play before the games? That used to crack me up.
  17. I was at a couple of Melbourne Victory games last season (2-2 draw with Perth Glory) around 20.000 in the Etihad Arena. No atmosphere and not the best quality football in my opinion. I believe Harry Kewell was on a small fortune when he signed for Melbourne Victory. Melbourne Heart were the better of the two teams last season. I think it was the Gold Coast United lost their licence and were punted and replaced by Western Sydney. Check out Mark Bosnich. he's a pundit on Fox.................now sporting a belter of a wig. There's a few ex EPL players playing there, plus Steven McGarry and Billy Mehmet. Francis Jeffers, Michael McGlinchey (Ex Dunfermline and Celtic) Grant Brebner to name a few.
  18. Ah well, never mind. This site is the only source of info/goss i get. suppose I better go for another dip in the sea to cool off.
  19. Where did you hear this info, if you don't mind me asking?
  20. SPL games are shown every week in various bars across Melbourne on ESPN. Another site that I've heard provides free live football is "Iraqgoals" though I've never used it myself. Hearts TV if I remember was £7 per game to watch their home games which is not bad for watching Saints live. I'm sure Hibs was similar.
