One of the the only few mistakes Hammy made was giving away a penalty agaisnt Cowal in the last minute in the semi final of the Scottish cup to knock us (Ferguslie Utd) out.

Welcome aboard Ian Murray. The next few weeks / months will be very interesting to see who stays and who leaves and who we sign. I wasn't too suprised that Ian Murray got the job. Timely move by the BOD Would also be interesting to know who the other four were that were on the short list. Not that it matters much as the BOD have picked the man that will hopefully get us back where we belong. Might take a few seasons, but you never know, only time will tell.

Have to hand it to Tom English, excellent article, hurting to read and the pain isn't over yet! Teale gets the blame, just as Craig got the blame before him, but the real problem here is with Stewart Gilmour and his board and their awful decision-making both in the appointment of two managers who had been part of administrations that had already been deemed not good enough and also by their hapless work in the transfer market. The powers-that-be at St Mirren saw the warning lights flashing a long time ago - or ought to have - and continued doing what they'd always done - the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome. It's not nice to see a club relegated - as St Mirren surely will be - but that's what happens when those at the top fall asleep at the wheel.

The BOD have really shoot themselves in the foot, just wish it was the head, each and every one of them! Why they accepted this poor offer of 250k is totally beyond me! If McLean had stayed and we did survive the drop, then he would have put himself in the shop window so to speak, and I’m sure he would have had plenty of good performances and goals to up that disgusting fee we have just accepted. So where do we find ourselves now???? Heading south ………as in the dreaded drop, can’t see us survive now. Just seen Mallan's it is a terrfic goal and one that will certainly go down as one of the best, Take into considerstion the young fella picked the ball up in his own half and danced around the Dundee midfield, pushed forward ...... and put it away with a great strike says it all. This can only bring confidence to the whole team and hopefully we build from here on in to the end of the season. I certainly hope we see more goals, especially at home to get the monkey off our back of not having a leauge win at home this season. Goals like Mallan's & Mcleans will surely get the crowds coming back. Certainly looking forwad to the "Killie Pie" game and i'm sure we will see that home win. It's great to be a Buddie! We need Billy Davies in now to bail us out of the worst crisis we had for years. This is doable, not pie in the sky or wishful thinking. No need to offer 2 yr contract, get him in for the rest of the season, save our souls and take it from there. We probably would loose him to another club if he did, (would) keep us up. We then can move on from that point. If no one comes in for him then he would still be our manager!

McCall is stitting, waiting for Sally's job so that one is a non starter Trust me on this one - Billy Davies needs to be approached and asked - he knows we ain't going to pay him a massive wage, he would take the job if asked. This would need to be done before the January transfer window so he can line up who he can get and who he can get rid of which is rather a lot on our performance this season. The only stumbling block is the BOD who will sit with TC and watch us sink to the depths of no return!

Just come back in from site and I'm shocked at the result ......... thought last years start was shit ...... well we ain't changed .........
