We got the Dr Jekyll version against Hibs and it was a joy to watch but I feel it was down to a lack of concentration on MacPherson and/or Durmus' part (2 of our best performers on the day) for their failure pick up Scott Allan in the middle of the park thus allowing him acres of room to set up the move for his goal.
This lack of concentration was not down to the tactics being applied and neither was it in the case of Hibs' second goal when Morias failed to control the ball just outside our 18 yard line.
Mistakes or lack of concentration can be punished anywhere on the park but if you are parked in your own penalty box that's where they are likely to occur.

If Accies lose tomorrow, which they should do, then Wednesday night becomes massive.
If we can beat Hamilton then it would effectively move us 7 points clear of them when factoring in goal difference. We would also remain within striking distance of the teams above us.
That was a really hard sequence of post Xmas games and we now move into a run where we should be looking to pick some points up that will put us in a good position for the run in.

Even if he was a month into a 3 year contract, McGinn still wouldn't be worth 200k. Some people live in cloud cuckoo land. As for Watt it would smack of a lazy signing and fly in the face of the "systems" we claim to be using (oh and he is pretty meh !)

Letting him go will raise a six figure sum that will help increase the wage bill by nearly 20%.

Game was there to be won with a bit more ambition

Aberdeen are not a good team this season. Doesnt matter what theyve done previously. I was speaking to a couple of their supporters last night and they were not looking forward to today's game because theyve been so bad. I thought their general play was awful today. If we had any sort of quality we wouldve beaten them

Mullen was of a similar standard as Cammy Smith , good hard working Championship player . I wish him well . I suspect a few teams have already shown interest and he will go in the next week .
 

Danny Mullen isn't a Premiership level striker and if we aspire to climb the league and consolidate year on year then we need to carry a strike force of a higher calibre. That said, i'm not entirely convinced Morias is any better than him..
We must have another striker lined up that is clearly much better than what we have in the squad at the moment.
Good luck to Danny, he tried his hardest but unfortunately, much like Cammy Smith, the Premiership was a step too high for him.

Seriously? I think he has been brilliant, yeah nothing great at the beginning but the last few games I've attended he's been one of our most consistent players.
I would like both, you know what your getting with JB but is it good enough for the SPFL?

Other than the Motherwell game, all our games this season have been defined by the smallest of margins.
We could easily be sitting up in 3rd instead of Killie, if we had the same mentality and momentum that they have created.
Jim needs to work hard on the training ground with our set pieces, defensively, but more importantly attacking.
7 or 8 goals from set plays in a season would take us out of the relegation picture.

The bad feeling over his departure from us was down to the deal being agreed before St Mirren knew anything about Jack's deal with Sunderland. We had given him permission to speak with Barnsley and Ipswich.  Jack publicly was saying he was looking forward to a season in the premiership with St Mirren and we weren't going into the season just to make up the numbers or only avoid relegation while privately he was applying for other jobs without telling the club what he was up to - he couldn't wait to leave!
