gilberto got a reaction from St.Ricky in Alcohol Ban to be Lifted?
I enjoy a few pints before and after the fitba and would have a pint at my seat at the game if that was allowed. It never will be tho. The idea of trying to tan a pint in 5 minutes at half time after queuing for 10 mins sounds awful

It is not trivial to me. I am 1000's of miles away and just want to see my team play. I couldn't give a xxxx about the money. If a service is offered.....it should work. Unfortunately on more than one occasion I have settled down on a Saturday afternoon to watch my team and not been able to.
If it was trivial to me...then why am I so p'd off when it happens.
It might be trivial to someone who is able to be at the stadium every 2nd week, but not for those of us who can't

Was worried they weren't going to change the subject in that article to talk about Rangers for a minute there. Phew.

The team lost but were applauded off the park.
The naysayers and non-attenders can make of that what they will.

We played well in the second half today. Lots of positives to be taken from the game. Your relentless negativity towards OK is getting boring. When the fans applauded the players after the game what did you do? Tick tock -

Of course, he doesn't even mean the compliment towards Jamieson who was fairly quiet. He just wants any excuse to put the boot in to the guys like McGinn and Smith that did well under Jack Ross.
He just can't help himself, already started his vendetta against Kearney. Thankfully going back to Tommy Craig he has called just about every single thing wrong, so hopefully a good sign we are about to turn a corner!

I feel honoured to have all this banter on my first post. Have no idea what’s going on though. It’s like getting dropped into the middle of Emmerdale having previously been unaware of the existence of it and having to work out all the storylines and what’s the beef with all the characters.

and to the far right are the warriors. Third from the left, the back stabber. Four from the left Thommo with his corner pole. Fifth from left, McGinn after receiving corner pole. -

Here's the thing. I get the club wanting to check a banner to make sure it isn't something that could be regarded as offensive or criminal in nature, but beyond that it is none of their damn business what message the fans want to project, they have absolutely NO business taking any action or confiscating a banner like this. None.

For the majority of that Final, we were the better Team and favourites to triumph.
The sending offs upset the run of play and seemed to knock us for six.
I am sure Gus gave correct instructions from the sidelines but the players seemed to bottle the opportunity to kill off the Blue Cnuts ( now deceased).

Always sad when you lose a good manager not that they come around often enough. Tickets are easy to get on match days. We have a members club at the stadium I'm sure a few of us can get you signed in for pre-match pint and give you guys a warm welcome. So keep in touch with the forum.

What does LPN mean? I've googled it (sorry Oaky) and it seems to mean Licenced Practical Nurse. Have I missed something?

People have bought season tickets every year regardless of how good or bad we were. It's called supporting the team first and foremost. If the team are dross (and there have been more seasons where they have been than not) then we bear it out hoping the club will improve that or the next season. Some fans retain loyalty and buy a season ticket every year as the club is in their blood. They don't quit but, instead, tough it out. They don't go crying for their money back because the team are not successful AFTER 3 league games. It isn't going as some thought but the Board will take whatever action is required if things don't improve.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else. It's slightly off topic but probably not worthy of a thread of its own. Does anyone know why non members weren't allowed into the 1877 Club after the game? The guy on the door couldn't say why (nice chap and we had a good blether, right enough).
Apparently I wasn't the first person to suggest that the club must not want my money. My nephew and I had just endured his second Saints game and I had hoped I would've able to salvage something by showing him the supporters' club.
