It's the right decision. I know there's a lot of people scared of change on here and I know he has a lot of supporters. However, there was no case for him to get a new deal, and any rational examination of the facts showed this. Therefore I'm glad the board have came to the obvious and correct conclusion. Danny leaves with his head held high and our best wishes. We must now move on, the new era starts now.

Eh it didn't, we would have been safe with 38 points. A run to the league cup semi final would have been worth a lot of money to the club. Hearts have out performed us this season despite having a transfer embargo and a manager in his first full season. There's no case for Danny to remain and I hope he's gone by 3pm.

Jeez here we go. AJ and AA are new managers in their first season at this level, they deserve a break, just like DL deserved a break in his first season, and he go one. Terry came in half way through. There's sections of all of the above support who want their managers sacked. Rumours in Dingwall say Derek Adams may not be there next season, they still finished above us though.

Very harsh on Locke and I'm pretty surprised. If Levein was coming in above him it does make his position untenable. I think he did a good job under trying circumstances at Hearts, and I'm sure he will get another job pretty soon...

Cheesy and McGregor aren't experienced? Cheesy has over 100 appearances at this level... We had far more experience in our squad than Hearts did. Sadly, this never stopped them having a better season than us. The reason they did is because they had a better manager.

Well what would be the point in keeping him? Are you happy with the status quo? Hanging around the bottom 6 all season and scraping survival? Danny's your man for that. Personally, I believe we can do better that. Have AJ and Archie 'done well' this season? Not according to many fans of both clubs. Both AJ and Archibald have had pressure on them from their fans, both have matched experienced Danny, Archibald has done so with a lesser budget. Why should we keep Danny? I genuinely can't see a case, apart from people being scared of change.

Alan Archibald and Allan Johnston had less experience than Ian Murray has going into this season. Didn't stop both of their teams having very similar seasons to us. What's the point in having an experienced manager when inexperienced managers like Archibald and AJ can come into the league and match him right away?
