  1. My hearing ain't what it used to be.
  2. ' keeping St Mirren in the Premership is a fantastic achievement ' Is it aye? So was owning your team in every game that's mattered between us in the last 30 years.
  3. The day I let Gary Locke define my expectations for St Mirren is the day I chuck it!
  4. A few players look like they think this is their last game.
  5. Lap of honour time! Vanzy looks emotional.
  6. And we aren't looking like we are going to.
  7. The only way we get 7th is we score.
  8. Newton off McGinn on. Nice standing ovation for what will surely be Conor's last appearance for St Mirren. Legend!
  9. 6311 here, 3014 Hearts fans. Still 1-1.
  10. Had routine knee surgery scheduled for the post season I believe, but brought it forward when we were safe.
  11. Teale off McGowan on. Not much happening really.
  12. 1-1 Dilo spills a shot and Carrick taps home, big keeper should perhaps have done better.
  13. Half time 1-0 Saints the better side and much deserving of our lead. Highlight of the half was the reaction of the Hearts fans after Killie scored ... Celebrations were mental
  14. Kenny McLean shot, spilled by the keeper, stuck in the pokey on the rebound by Conor. End of season fayre apart from that.
  15. Craig Levein played attacking football with Hearts and Dundee United. People seem to judge him on the Scotland job, rather than the reasons he got the Scotland job. When he got the national job he was was the popular choice as he was widely believed to be the best candidate available. Okay by all accounts he failed there, but if failing at international level automatically means you aren't good enough for St Mirren, then our fans are more arrogant than I thought.
  16. Can't believe how low down Cheesy is, below Kello and McGowan? Pfft.
  17. I've named one repeatedly: Craig Levein. There would be a list of experienced applicants as long as your arm if our position became available, and I think he'd be one of them. I also agree with people who compliment the way Danny's conducted himself in his 4 years here. He's always been a gent who's been more than willing to talk to fans and show up at community events, and he's always conducted himself in the proper manner.
  18. Spot on. I would love to know how much money the club spent on terminating guys like Imrie, Guy, Bahoken and Grainger. Would bring a tear to the eye I expect.
