Great 68th minute applause for Simon there, nice to see Thistle fans taking part.

Cranked it up last 5 and got the rewards.
Just aswell Thistle are rubbish, because we have been terrible.

I was at the 3-0 game at Fir Hill on 10th November 2013 with Simon, my mate of 39 years, his nephew Keith, and another best friend Jim. Jim, Simon and me had stood on the Love Street North Bank from a young age - I lost count of the number of games we saw, home and away.
10th November will forever be etched in my brain. We had an excellent day out - beers, watching the Saints win, curry and laughs - exactly what best mates should do. Shortly after midnight I said my farewells to Simon and planned to do it all again a month later away to Motherwell. I walked one way, Simon walked the other. Shortly afterwards some random bastard killed him for no apparent reason. I was the lucky one. Not only is this an attack on my best mate, it's an attack on society - it could have happened to anyone reading this.
I can't bring myself to attend tomorrow - do Simon proud Saints.
The murder trial begins on 9th June. Justice for Simon.

£300k is a lot of money to a club like St Mirren. That would equate to over £5.5k a week. That could get either 2 really good players or 3-5 other players on bosmans. If you were on the board would you sanction we pay Kenny £5.5k a week for one more season? He'd probably stay for that.

This isn't really a crunch game for us after our win on Saturday. We need 3 points from our last 4 games, I'm sure 37 points will be enough to avoid 11th spot. We have home games against Ross County and Hearts (if needed) to get those 3 points.
Our away record is the worst in the league, so we can't expect much on the road. As such, I would take a point here. Although it would be rather delightful if we could get the win and relax for the last 3 matches

Last couple of seasons......

If MacLean hadn't got injured at the start of December not only would we be out of danger but Kenny would win player of the year. Only when he is gone will we appreciate how good he really is.

I'll be raising a glass in the Star & Garter in memory of Simon as that was the last place I saw him. Still find I hard to believe he's gone. If anyone cares to join me they'd be more than welcome.
