Lex got a reaction from Gordon Urquhart in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14Well here's a season defining 45 minutes approaching if I've ever seen one.
By all accounts in the main stand Goodwins red card was incorrect, we move on and discuss that after the game.
For now we have 10 men and we are defending a 2 goal lead against the worst attack in the league, and we are doing well so far. If I had to pick 1 team in the league to defend a 2 goal lead with 10 men, I'd pick Hibs.
We need to believe we will win this, we can win this. Would you have taken a 2 goal lead and a man down at half time? I would have.
Believe in us, it's here. Come on you Saints!

Lex reacted to Liverpool Bud in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14I've awoken today strangely optimistic - it's a sunshiney day in Warrington - so shorts on - tackling the garden - beer will be flowing and the radio will be on.
I'm predicting 2-1 saints ( thommo & mcginn )
5038 crowd
Sunshine
12 planes
And at the end of the game loads of smiley happy buddies!
I looked in to coming up for this game but network rail fxxked it up by their Easter lets rip up the rails schedule - and wanted £107 return to sit on a bus from carlise to Glasgow on the way up and a bus from Glasgow to Lancaster on the way south then train to Wigan then bus to Warrington ( wtf )!
So fingers crossed its not an epic goal fest of a game!
Have a great day buds one and all

As you can see Drew Labour held their share of the vote. Many of the constituencies may have gone from Labour to SNP but that was because of the voting pattern that I've described. You and Salmonbuddie might be struggling to understand it but it's very, very clear.

Lex got a reaction from Dibbles old paperboy in How Many Points? Is it? We have the same GD as Partick Thistle. Also, we're only 3 worse than County. A 2-0 win for us at home to County is a 4 goal swing so 3 goals isn't that big a gap.

Lex got a reaction from Isle Of Bute Saint in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14I quoted Elvis not you! I agree with your post, this incentive is great news for us. Hibs fans get two games for the price of one, except they pay us full price and give Hibs nothing for the two games. Hopefully this means a bigger travelling support and more money coming our way.
What do you think we should do then? Turn the away fans and their money away despite us having ample room for them in the ground? Madness.
We've won two games on the bounce twice already this season, not bad for a club in our position, so not sure what your last point is based on.
Agreed. In reality though, we never have nearly enough home fans to fill the West stand, so having away fans in W8 is better than having no fans at all.
Hopefully he makes it! Dilo was playing in the youth cup, can't imagine he'd be risked unless we thought Kello would be available for the weekend.

Lex got a reaction from pod in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14This initiative is nothing to do with us, just Hibs. I see you're getting your knickers in a twist about this on PNB aswell, what do you think we are doing wrong here?

Lex reacted to Gordon Urquhart in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14What are the commercial people at the club doing?
We should be talking this game up and with a big Hibs away support, aiming for an 8K sell out.

Lex got a reaction from insaintee in Mclean To Ipswich?I'd be astounded if he goes to the new club. He's far too good for them, like most of our players are to be fair. They're just a nothing 3rd tier team.

Lex reacted to Griff in Adam Campbell In JanuaryA good omen , Saints cupwins have all. Coincided with the signing of a young striker midway through the season , who then goes on to have an exceptional season , Baker in 59 , Ferguson in 87 , Gonglaves in 2013 , hopefully Campbell in 2014

Lex got a reaction from BaldyOzBud in Poor Bidco..!Liquidation and application for a new club to the lowland league looking likely now.
Good. I can't stand Hearts and will dance on their cheating grave when they die. Glad we pumped them in what will hopefully be their last ever final. Maybe their last ever game will be in Paisley on the final day of season? Hopefully pump them then too
That's what happens when you sell your soul to the devil. You get some good times, cup wins, European trips, etc. Then the good times stop and it's time to go to hell.

Lex got a reaction from Maximillion in St Mirren V Hibs 19/4/14A win would be tremendous but I'd probably take a point now to be honest. County and Thistle are both away from home so will hopefully both lose.
A loss would be pretty disastrous. It's definitely more a must not lose game than must win game.

Lex got a reaction from Luther G. Presley in How Many Points?Thistle fan posted an interesting table on PNB. If the results for all teams go the way they did in the first round of fixtures (We win at Partick and home to Ross Co, lose at Killie, and draw at home to Hibs and Hearts) then the final table will look like this:
Killie 42
Saints 39
Hibs 38
County 37
Thistle 35
Hearts 18
Doesn't look too unrealistic to me, and I'd certainly take that. I think 37 points would do it, and we have 31 just now. Beat Hibs a week Saturday and win at Firhill 6 days later and we're safe.

Lex reacted to irvine_buddie in The Referendum ThreadI don't think most Scots care or would even have been aware (before independance talk) that the subs are in Helensburgh.
I work at the base and I know it would destroy the surrounding areas if the base was shut down as 80% of people who work here live in the Helensburgh/Balloch/Dumbarton area.

Lex got a reaction from BaldyOzBud in Thommohawk's New DealGreat news.
He is your archetypal 15-20 goal a season man at this level, which we have seen in each of his 3 seasons with us. As we well know, these players are hard to find.
Remarkably, for a player his age he's never had a serious injury in his time here. I think he has at least 2 more seasons in him at this level, and I hope he thinks that too.
We need to get someone in next year to take the load off him though. I know it was meant to be Bahoken this year, and that hasn't worked. Next year we need an experienced back up to give Thommo a rest. It will be better for us and him if he isn't forced into playing 90 minutes virtually every week.
