  1. Nail on the head. In any line of work or business you need to have managers with good personal and man management skills. It’s common knowledge that Stubbs and his yapping dug Jackson had neither.
  2. Gordon Parks doesn’t have the intellect required to be a wind up merchant. He’s thick as mince and a failed pro footballer. Anyone employed to write articles for the old firm based west of Scotland gutter press, should be ignored. In Summary he’s a bellend no mark.
  3. Stop it, talking sense like this doesn’t fit in with Somner 9’s agenda.
  4. You would have been rejoicing had Jack Ross been sacked after the first 6 games of his tenure. You didn’t want him appointed in the first place, and you didn’t want to give him any time to fix the omnishambles left behind by his predecessor Alex Rae.
  5. I’d say It could be McIntyre Gary Caldwell or Jim Goodwin lined up to take the seat at the helm, should Stubbs be given the boot this week. McIntyre & Dodds would be a good fit imho as they have achieved a very decent level of success with a smaller club. Albeit one with a sugar daddy in Mr McGregor.
  6. I find it astonishing that our chairman seems to have overlooked the utter shambles that Stubbs left in his wake at Rotherham. He’s now repeating the same mistakes with a striking similarity with us. There is no doubt that he’s completely useless at managing football clubs, and that he should go back to work in the media before he completely ruins our club.
  7. It’s his belief that St Mirren will do no further business in this window.
  8. He’ll be lucky to survive the next 3 games imho.
  9. The expected response of a hypocrite. Thanks for playing champ.
  10. Yet last season you attempted to trash anything and everything achieved by Jack Ross. Our most successful manager in a very long time. Was that not an attempt at destabilising ?
  11. He doesn’t fit the Stubbs criteria as he’s not an English jobber plying his trade in the fifth tier non league.
  12. You reckon Stubbs is capable of signing 1 top quality player never mind 5.
  13. I would say out of the three he rates Rice. As for Stubbs I would be astounded if the club have given him a 3 year contract with no clause in that to relieve him of his duties if he’s not doing the required job. There’s no doubt in my mind that he was the wrong man for the job. GLS and Fitzy picked him and now they have to sort out this mess or we are heading back to where we came from.
  14. I agree in part but what about players who also were part of everything that was good about our club last season, having to watch a manager come in and rip the squad to peices. Last season’s squad probably needed about 5 decent quality players to add to those already there, just like Livingston have done, they kept the core of a successful squad and it was very apparent yesterday. Stubbs has assembled a squad who would be lucky to stay up in the championship, never mind the premiership. The board have got it all wrong they need to act and do it swiftly. Sack Stubbs now.
  15. Rumours currently doing the rounds are that the players don’t like Stubbs and positively loathe Darren Jackson. I’m not sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but it’s abundantly clear that the club is broken and has tumbled back down to the utter shambles of Alex Rae/ Ian Murray time. Time for the board to sort this mess out and do it quickly because this manager is clearly not up to the job.
  16. That will be far too late Neil. He needs sacked now. Give someone else a chance to try and sort out the utter shambles that this clown has created. We have regressed back to the shambles created by Rae and Murray.
  17. Just out of interest why are you predicting a poor crowd ,given that we have 3500 season ticket holders. I expect to see at least 3800 Home fans, and roughly about 150 from the West Lothian plastic franchise. Taking us up around the 4000 mark would be decent.
  18. McCann will be sacked before the first quarter of games in my opinion.
  19. I know that I’ve raised the point before, but I can’t see us shelling out £175k for any player. I do get the fact that Shanks has managed to turn around all of his fitness issues and that he could well turn out to be a sound investment for any club willing to take the risk. He’s always been a natural finisher for me and a player that I would take back in a heartbeat. But it would be a huge risk financially for a club operating at our level to pay that kind of fee, given that he might not even be interested in coming back.
  20. Apparently not happy at left back and thinks it will benefit his career to play a more central role acoording to a Celtic supporting friend.
  21. At this stage of his career, given that he needs to play in order to stay match fit, I reckon he’s heading our way in order to get regular game time.
  22. I expect him to sign for us or Hibs who are also interested.
