Dillon didn't have to leave the pitch as the player who fouled him (Morgan) was booked

They have changed the rule recently so the team commiting the foul doesn't get the advantange of the other team being temporarily down to 10 men.

Was there a similar furore when season ticket holders in the family stand were denied the opportunity to purchase their usual seats at the recent TNS game?

Also by having to use Stevenson as a keeper means Raith are an outfield player down now.

Late 70s was terrible often seen people getting glassed in pubs. Silver Thread remember one night a car being forced off the road into a lamp post. Then occupants dragged out and set upon One night the *** gang decided I was to get it. Police turned up i just said they were mates playing a joke with me. They left me alone forever after that. Frriers Hall was the worst battles I have seen. Not until I left Paisley did I realised it was extremely violent. One thing you learned which has proved worth while is how to be Street wise being aware of your surroundings. Proved to be useful on travels.

Born in Sunny Govan, a buckie bottle throw from Ibrox, moved to Brodie Park area from Kilbarchan when I was 9 months old, my first Saints memory was Oldham in The ASC in 1978. Was a season ticket holder from teenager (82 ish)to when I went to Oz backpacking in 97. Once had a run of 175 home games without missing one. Almost had a full home and away season one year but my brother had to get married on a Saturday!!
Now been in Atyrau, Kazakhstan for the last 10 years, watch St. Mirren TV when I can, kick offs at the wrong time usually, 7/8pm on a Saturday night, family to be fed, pubs to visit.
Miss the Jolly Beggars bus, some funny drunken times on that bad boy.

I'm convinced some posters on here wont be too disappointed if we fail to win on Saturday, or even pleased for that matter,
there agenda against JR has been running for too long now they'd find it hard to admit there wrong even though he's
just begun to get his own team on the park, which for some strange reason they still find it hard to comprehend,

It's fcuking embarrassing reading this thread at times especially just days away from our biggest game of the season..

Don't really disagree LPM but I don't believe any of us know what conversations re "expectations" etc have gone on between GLS and Jack Ross or what the consequences for the current management team may be should they not realise the board's expectations. There has certainly been rhetoric around about our situation but what business truly opens itself to having those conversations in public.
With regards to the so-called "JR's team" I would consider that the Dunfermline away draw as the start of seeing his players on the park. I have been at every game since and with the exception of Falkirk at home I'd say we've done OK, no better and no worse. That would be 3 wins, two away draws (to teams in reasonable form) and a disappointing home loss but in general and OK return and certainly a lot better than what had gone before it.

With our one of our most important games in many a year this Saturday , I find it very odd that this seems to be a busy thread , as opposed to the Ayr match day thread . Perhaps some just can't wait to sharpen their knives .

I'm not sure I entirely agree Faraway.................I like debate and disagreement as long as it is carried out in a reasonably respectful manner ad I would actually avoid a dull/safe forum.
For the record I don't think in any way StuD was the only person behaving in this manner and there was, in especial, a group of around 4 or 5 who followed him round the forum behaving in exactly the same manner as they criticised him for. There are also plenty of examples of the same kind of rubbish between other posters where threads were hijacked simply for opportunity to launch petty attacks and insults as opposed to discussing/debating whatever the thread was set up for.
Unfortunately debate had become more about point scoring and abusing, at every opportunity, rather than discussing, debating, arguing whichever point was the order of the day.

Just my personal opinion... would it not be more appropriate, meaningful and relevant to address this request to the club?
smisa members subscriptions are ringfenced to pay off a substantial debt to the selling consortium, and to buy the majority shareholding in the club.
