I joined this forum last February and started receiving unwanted "special attention" from Faraway Saint.
I repeat, I haven't seen you questioning his behaviour towards others but you, along with a select others, come to his defence everytime someone serves him what he serves up to them.

No disagreement from me there Buddy, I was just highlighting the inconsistency in what they do and don’t deal with which is more down to the on-field referee.

Correct, nor the acrobatic overhead kick in the midfield which meant Tanser (I think) pulling out of a header when the ref shouted and waved his finger at the Celtic player but failed to give a free-kick to Saints despite there being no advantage.

I don't remember any sanction for Maeda (I think) barging Hemming into the advertising boards after he had cleared the ball on the sideline. That looked
a) deliberate and
b) endangering an opponent.
I watched the game live on TV, not sure if it appeared on the highlights for those of you at the match.

A good point made by @buddiecat over on the real Aberdeen thread about the referee.
Good game, allowed the game to flow and just refereed the game as it should be, about the players and not him. 

Fantastic result.
Hopefully has the added advantage of keeping the posters who have been unduly criticising the team from posting this evening.
Thought the entire defence was superb today, in extremely difficult conditions.
How good is Bolton?
Midfield was better, but still a bit careless at times.
Kiltie much better too and I thought Mandron and Jamieson worked really hard.
Great to see big Ayunga scoring and Toyosi causing problems too.
And finally.................. much better delivery into the box today.

how is a player to get through a tough spell with that kind of shit flying around?
 

We do seem to have a lot of whining individuals in our support.
Supporting our team is a labour of love, as it always will be.
We have to roll with the bad times as we do with the good times.
As it is, we're fifth, yes fifth in league and we're going through a difficult spell. 
Some of us have spent years following Saints through times like the 90's when we were so much worse than the current situation. That puts it into perspective for me.
Having said all that, maybe our whining support get some sort of joy out of behaving in this manner, so if it gets them through the day, then fill your boots.

Have fun, mate. You never know, we might just get that bit of luck that reinvigorates the whole team and go on an implausible run of victories!   

Not sure if I'm looking forward to my trip up to Aberdeen but I'll do my best to put a brave face on things if it all goes wrong.
I'll be with 4 Aberdeen supporters and a Liverpool supporter, who I've not met before.
Hope he's up for supporting us, I'll need some back up.
