The Bill Kirchen Trio 
I had NO idea what to expect! 
I did NOT expect that!
I don't think anything could have really prepared me for the level of musicianship and enjoyment I experienced.
The 75 year old American with over 50 years experience had us singing along from track 1 and was given several standing ovations at the end of a blistering non stop set lasting close on two hours!
 
The venue website described his music as a "mash up rockabilly, country, western swing, honky-tonk, jump blues, jazz, boogie-woogie and even the “psychedelic folk rock”". 
I don't think that comes close to describing the full range of the one man Telecaster tornado!
No guitar changes 
No tuning changes.
No capo.
No gimmicks...
Yet the range of sounds from the guitar was off the chart.
Add on witty lyrics and it was a truly memorable night for the sell out crowd.

Yeah, I hurt my knee at a game last week. Should be fit for the weekend. Thanks for asking. [emoji6]

Ha Ha. I have a similar story.
Me an my Bro in law were sat in the Wee Howff pre match and got talking to a lad from Cumbria. He heard me mention Jersey and said that he worked out here for years. We asked him what he was doing in Paisley and he said that every so often he picks a Scottish ground to go to and this was his first visit to St. Mirren Park. He joined us at our table and we were blethering away when another guy with an antipodean accent came up to us to ask us how long the walk was to the stadium. This was only about 2.15 so we told him not to panic and take a pew with us. Turns out he was a Kiwi guy (lives in Suffolk) who goes to watch teams with NZ internationals and this was his first trip to see St. Mirren/Greive.
By this time, Portmahomack Saint has joined us in the pub, but he was driving so was on the alcohol free stuff. Being the gentleman that he is, he gave us all a lift to the stadium, but not only that, he gave the boy from Cumbria (who hadn’t bought a match ticket yet) a spare he had on the day. The Kiwi guy already had a ticket. 
Post match he gave them both a lift back to the wee Howff. My bro in law and I met them back in there and had a few scoops. The Cumbria lad had to shoot off about 6.30 to catch his train home, but the Kiwi guy was going up Ashton Lane to meet his son to watch the Rugby World Cup Final. I had to head back up to the west end anyway, so I went with him and watched the first half with him and his boy. 
Two perfect gentlemen to meet on a random wee day at the fitba. I hope they enjoyed their day out and left with good memories of Paisley/St. Mirren.

To be honest, I'm looking to take 3 points from them at least once each. Maybe I'm getting carried away but I feel justified.

It's complicated all right, but as long as people see it as impossible it will remain so. 

What's that got to do with anything , that kind of scenario happens the world over ? That kind of attitude is why Todd and Corson were too small-time for Fergie  , and the "we are all St Mirren supporters on the BOD" days are gone at most clubs forever. It was Gillespie who negotiated the deal to bring in SR , do you think it even crossed Robinson's mind that Gillespie didn't support the club growing up ? It's such a narrow minded outlook , much the same as Wardrop's , childlike even !

Celtic 2-1 St Mirren, full time.
Really disappointed, we were, IMO, coping well despite the expected possession that Celtic had.
Not a bad result and we're not a bad team.
 

First time making it through to the Paisley  Pie Co today... Knocked myself out... Like a kid in a sweetie shop!

Tonight, Mrs Me had the Chicken Tikka Chasni pie and I had the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken pie...
Both served with home made Bombay potatoes and Dhal.
Wow. Sublime. Both pies were amazing and worth the return trip to Paisley.

I think that’s the Key against the OF… lose an early goal and it’s a long night, if you don’t, it changes the atmosphere and you are in with a shot. 
I’ll be watching here from Florida, beer in hand to either celebrate or drown my sorrows lol

The club cannot be bought as SMiSA are the majority shareholders and their shares cannot be sold. Quite possibly kibble shares can be sold as well as those of all other minority shareholders.
SMiSA shares can however be transferred to a similar community interest group but can never be sold.

I think most have put it behind them (if they even cared in the first place) regarding our fanbase.
 
You’re almost certainly in a small minority. But there’s little change there, right?
