We could limit entry into the Scottish Cup to League Clubs only.
We could rebrand it as the League Cup.

Mixed views. See both sides of the argument but on balance I’m inclined to vote no and agree with the chairman. But I don’t support funding core first team things like new footballs either the club need to manage that directly.

I think (personal view only) the best outputs from this initiative have been the projects that have improved access for disabled fans and youth projects. These are the things that often get overlooked and it’s great we can help.

I do however admire the team at SMISA for standing firm and giving the option to the contributing fans to decide.

Problem can be the 2nd bus is fill of strangers and you don't know how they are going to behave. The guys that run the buses have a thankless task and a 2nd bus is maybe just not worth the hassle.

Thankless task running a bus. Everybody wants seats now. lose 2 or 3 games and these same people will disappear. Bus convenors are right not to run 2nd buses. it's a pity but it is a lot of work finding members who want to do it cos they want to enjoy their day hassle free. but I hope a lot of fans get there and support the Saints.

The original Supporters Buses are sold out this week and the way we are playing, they will be full for most away matches.
    We need a new Bus.
What about the Club running a Bus or Buses , if need be , from the Stadium , based from the 1877 Club ?
Even for this Saturday, they could easily fill at least 2 Coaches.
Bookings and payment could be taken Online via the Official Website .
A few Buses could be provisionally booked and maybe bookings could cease late on Friday or Saturday mornings.
THE 1877 CLUB COULD ALSO BE OPEN FOR , MAYBE 2 HOURS BEFORE BUS LEAVES.
Also, maybe the other Supporters Clubs could join in the ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM.

I  agree with Kemp - McGinn'll be 23 in October past the age where he will be valued in terms of potential and as his contract runs down I don't see his value increasing unless he has an exceptional season this year.

    Can't say I agree unfortunately.
I think Hibs are going to find out the pre season talk of them competing in the top 3 or 4 is quite wide of the mark.  I can see them struggling and JM's perceived value depreciating as a result.  Would have been delighted if Hibs had accepted 1.5m for him.

That was bloody outstanding yesterday. Every player done their bit and more.

The back three were solid and I'm delighted Buchanan has came on after a poor start. Playing with a back three gives us the cover we need to allow Stellios and Smith to bomb up and down the wings to support the front three.

It was great to watch us close down the United defenders every time they had the ball, I lost count the number of times we won it back by doing this. The way that the back three turned into a back five every time United had the ball as well meant they didn't have any space to move the ball into in the final third.

Special mention to Morgan, what a player he is, deserves to be playing at a higher level. He literally just strolls past players and they can't even get close enough to him to bring him down.

I paid for hospitality yesterday so had a great day from start to finish. I was also at hospitality for the Raith and Ayr pumpings we handed out last season. I think I'll be paying for a few more hospitality games this season, if these performances continue every time I go. [emoji1]

Won a signed ball as well yesterday but gave it to one of the kids that didn't have one yesterday. I've got a feeling this team is going to achieve something special and it'll be worth a few bob in a few years time, so he better buy me a pint when he's old enough. [emoji1]

Gutted it's the international break next week, two very big league games coming up.

You know a class player when they make a pass that even sitting in the stand you couldn't see. That's what that cut back to mcshane was. To come up with that pass and vision after running at speed from the half way line, round the side of the left back then to the by line was quite something. A goal I'll remember for a long time

Here is the thing. If he has been on trial with us for several weeks (which he has) and Jack Ross has had enough of a look at him in that time to make a decision based on merit, then why would we question the wisdom given Jack's very good record so far in signings?
If he's been signed then clearly he is up to the standard that the rest of our lads train at. If Jack Ross had two weeks to assess and thought he'd be carrying dead weight in Duffy then there is no way he'd have brought him in. Jack and indeed James Fowler are not the sentimental type as we saw when they quickly moved Scott Gallacher and Kyle Hutton on after they'd won POTY the previous season under both men with Alloa and QOS.

Looks like the options are "loaded" and, TBH, there is little real outcome than what the club sees as a request to "improve the club", all more whataboutery.
The idea of helping the community was a selling point, as I recall, and there seems to be little of the cash doing exactly this.
Never mind, the "we support the club till we're blue in the face" crew will be overjoyed and, after all, it is democracy.

Agree with others here that although the outcome was democratic and very much as I expected, I would dearly have loved to have done more for the wider community.
The club would have reaped rewards at some point in the fufure.
Sometimes investing in others is a better long term investment in self!

Have to agree about the Community side of things. The weights option should have been in the same section as the Sports Scientist with the other section only being for Community related stuff.
Everything seems to be weighted in favour of the Club. There's not been a decent vote to date.

Looks like whenever there are items in the vote that would give straight to the club, then those choices are always going to win, can't say i'm against anything that enhances the product on the park, but i am disappointed that we don't get much of a chance of helping the commuinity in general. It was one of the selling points of the bid after all. Maybe a vote which is free of any requests from the club every so often could address that.
